My Karu 16 is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I've been watching plenty for pointers. Got some from you and thanks for that. I'm a W'rn NY'er. We don't do "fluffy" dough here. LOL And we dang sure don't cut our pizza with a scissors!! Check out a Cutco pizza cutter. That and ALL their knives are the best on the planet. Expensive? Yes, er I mean no. Expensive when you buy? Yes. BUT, FREE sharpening FOREVER! Every other high end manufacturer doesn't even offer sharpening for a fee. If it can no longer be sharpened? You get a new one! FREE. Thanks again for some good pointers. Peace

i like using wood but heat management is a pain for me if you make a couple of pizzas sometimes the stone is too cold sometimes its too hot, sometimes the flames are too big or sometimes very low while the stone still is very hot.... its not easy
i bought the gas burner recently and will use both options in the future 😊

I’ll toss little pieces of mesquite in the oven when I start losing heat. The small pieces can increase the heat quick enough without erupting large flames. Thanks for the comment. I need to make another pizza video, but I’ve been busy editing my travel videos.

I would not have used that cheese in the bag. That is not made to be used in high-heat ovens. Burns to easily. You would have had better results with cubed fresh mozzarella. Nice job on the curst either way.

Mozzarella is the better choice. Surprisingly the flavor from the shredded mozzarella at Costco is tasty. I think the burn on top is a preservative that keeps the cheese from going bad. Could be harmful. Lol

@@fooddrinkchronicles This is what I have heard also. Good job!!! Bro for a huge upgrade in taste do not use jarred sauce! Use canned San Marzano crushed tomatoes! The difference is well, please try this one recommendation.
