works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside th-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked. Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again.This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.
I bought this from Costco about a year ago but I’m just now I’m going to use it and try it out … the book was confusing a little bit I had unanswered questions and thank God I found you on TH-cam.. you did a very thorough job of explaining everything and help me a lot thank you thank you. You answered all my questions including about the extra seal ring 😀😀
Great job on the video. I was going to call customer service because I was trying to put the red ring in over the other ring. Also, so much easier to see how you close the pot. I feel much more confident now about using the pot. The whole idea of putting it together wrong and having a pressure accident was weighing on me heavily. thank you so much.

I love the way you explained everything beginning with the seal as it should be done. I was already trying to install the red seal which as you aptly explained was not needed, and for that alone, I thank you. So many times instructors when writing the ho to do’s take little things for granted when explaining to people who know nothing about what is being explained. The taking apart the valves was also very helpful, and for that I thank you again. However in reading the book I couldn't find any mention of a red seal ring. I watched several TH-cam videos of people opening their box, etc. but none of them mentioned or even showed this red ring. I was already a little nervous using this appliance but when I couldn't find out anything about this red ring I was even more afraid to use for fear it was going to blow up or something since I didn't know where it went or anything. I was so relieved when I discovered your video pic with the red ring on it and your explanation of it being just an extra seal. Thank you so much for taking the time to go from the beginning and on forth. I appreciate you!

I just got this pot and I'm so glad I found this video. The directions are kinda sparse and confusing so here I am. This Instandpot is amazing and so convenient. It makes chicken congee in 30 minutes, whereas by hand it can take up to 1.5-2 hours and having to mix it every 15 mintues on a timer. So glad those days are over.
I've never used a pressure cooker before and was actually a tiny bit afraid of using one. But the technology has progressed so far that you really have to go out of your way to blow one up. So, when I got one over the holidays, I was glad you posted your video with your clear explanation on how to use this device. Thanks again.

If I had followed the book with that initial water test, it's worded in a way that indicates that the water should go on the element. The instructions WE got are terrible. Thank god for this video. Thank you so much
I checked thru the Costco reviews for this product. No one complained about having two of the same spoons. They did complain about buying it thru Costco online and the unit coming dented, poorly packaged, missing items, etc. Best bet is to purchase in the warehouse. It seems to have gotten good reviews so far.

OMG! I am so happy I checked out TH-cam and came across your video. Like others, I was confounded by this red ring and I just checked my lid and sure enough the clear plastic lid is in there. They scaled down to one silicone mitt 😳 thank you for this video, i am brand new and was so confused by all the videos saying to put it into "sealing mode." The manual implied i didnt have to but i was still so worried i was doing it wrong.
Question 🙋♀️ when set using “pressure cook” button, the “keep warm” button illuminates. Does that impact natural release? Recipe calls for 30 minute natural release, does keep warm, keep cooking versus releasing? Thanks.
I rarely use a preset because I like to choose my own temp, pressure, and time settings. During the warmer weather I've been using my air fryer more. Since the weather has cooled a bit I'm using my IP more frequently.

I too! The direction for the ring was horrible! I spent two hours trying to get the red ringer over the clear one.
