I could just feel Ashley's soul gaining a touch of something special that she needed. It's hard to explain, but I could just tell that this trip gave her back some peace, restfulness, and joy. I could feel some of her stress melt away. So happy you got to get away and have some time for yourselves. You deserved it! You're such great parents.

I lived in Seattle for awhile and my folks grew up there, to keep from getting depressed due to the lack of sunshine people take vitamins and they really do help. I’m so glad you enjoyed some of my favorite places in WA 😍

We live 20 miles south of Seattle and moved here from the South. Needless to say, we are moving back down South this fall because it’s a gorgeous and fun place to visit, but the weather is obnoxiously rainy except during the summer and we miss having all 4 seasons!
I live not too far from Seattle! Next time you’re in wa you should visit Westport! (Where I live) it’s a tiny fishing/beach town. Lots of fun stuff to do during the spring & summer, & the beaches are beautiful. You can find agates, lots of different cool shells, glass floats, etc! 🙂
Love what you said that about the trees. When I see people chopping up trees from their yards or clear out land for buildings it legit makes me sad, like I feel like all of those trees just....died. Like a pointless death. Anyway, loved the vlog! ❤❤❤ Annnnd I wish I could have reached through the screen to try those Italian dishes!!!!!!!

Wow l hope you and Ashley had a wonderful time away from the children on you're couples retreat ?It's well deserved for both of you to get some rest and quality time together Ashley and Dallin the Italian restaurant looked really awesome you can tell if it's truly an Italian restaurant because the food is usually phenomenal as a rule Ashley and Dallin . I hope that George will like the sea shells ? I loved seeing Ashley hugging the very tall trees as l think you can tell what the trees are saying lol Hahaha . I love seeing all the different types of rhododendron l just love all of the coloured ones l have a pale pink one in my Garden that flowers early April / May which is stunning to see unfortunately it doesn't last so long that's the only problem with rhododendron . I hope you have a safe trip home to George and James who l know will have missed the both of you would have missed immensely including Luna and Dash .😁😜💋❤

You definitely have to take the time to get away and connect. That’s one place where my marriage failed. When we tried later it was too late. Remember you two need to be on solid ground and it’s ok to get away.

I just have one question how come you always talk about what you're going to do for your thing but very little about what you're going to do for your daughter. I watched your son's 2 year old birthday he was really talking and you did a lot of things with him. I noticed with your daughter's birthday you did a lot but with more your son then your daughter. It's very easy to keep a child riddle you need to get her talking more I know because I went through it with mine
I would think that there’s more to talk about with George since he’s older and more interactive. They’re not gonna come on and say that they FaceTimed James earlier to hear her grunt at them? I’m sure they talked to her too, but only George had something to actually contribute to the conversation and not everyone cares about the cute grunting sounds your baby makes
