I have that pattern. Yes, you pressed the darts correctly, toward the center. Curved hems are tricky. Pressing helps. I think the dress looks great on you. Happy Birthday! 🎂🥳🎉

Happy birthday! Your dress is lovely! I made that pattern last year and I share similar frustrations. I like how mine came out but I wouldn’t make it again because of how cumbersome the placket and curves are. I thought I was gonna whip it up in no time but I was wrong. Tfs!
