The first era of VC line was a golden age the likes of which we will never see again. Wished I bought all the variants back then !

I really do like the photoreal technology. Better or worse, at least it is the newest technology in an attempt to make figures look better.

Thanks for the review Tim! Han has been the only figure from this wave that I've ordered so far. I have all the older versions of these figures already, but would like to get the upgraded face tech on these versions. Wasn't sure about Luke and Lando, but the Han certainly looks a bit better than the older version.
Yep I prefer it. My original looks like he's rolling his eyes. A bit like the Mrs does to me when more Star Wars stuff arrives in the post!
@@BossksBounty LOL Know what you mean, mate! I was panicking this week as I waited for my Black Series Boba Fett helmet to arrive in the post!!!! Luckily I was able to sneak it in to the house without her seeing it!!! LOL
I preordered the entire wave through BBTS so that means I'm still waiting on mine to come in. 😀
Nice review Bossko, Han does seem to have the same hairline issues as the old one where they missed a couple of spots with the brown paint. Also still think his jacket is too crumpled, it's pretty crisp in the film but that's the way he was sculpted. Looks great on the card though.

I have the orignal one and it actually doesnt look bad..I find the new one he looks old almost like ST Han dyed his hair
I don't have a decent 3.75" Han yet and his Bespin outfit was always my preferred look. I'll probably get this guy and swap his head with the one from Stormtrooper Han.
Watched your Han worst to best and couldn't agree more with the new Stormtrooper disguise Han is the number 1. Have you tried to do a headswap using the phenomenal stormtrooper han head with this Bespin Han body?

Another great reissue. I really thought we would have gotten more Empire Strikes Back TVC figures this year. It is really disappointing. #backTVC
The new bubble is bigger. You can see it covers more of the doorway Han is leaning on. Also, they took “outfit” out of the name on the new one. Not sure why. Why not just keep it the same?
Is it me or does the head scan look like the old man Han from the Force Awakens?

Where did you find these figures? I can’t seem to find them on amazon.
A very kind subscriber sent them to me. He found them in Walmart even tough they arent supposed to be in stores. Try Dorkside Toys, but I think they are due for release in June.

Fantastic review! But I still think the neck is too long.
I know I'm late to this but seems like I was the only one who passed on this figure last year because of the really sloppy paintjob . Look at this hair, it's not even painted properly. (same with Bespin Luke). The old one has a better paintjob except for the eyes.
Han looks a little under the weather mate.

Tbh I’m still not happy with this Han or Princess Leia in this wave - their face and eyes are not doing it for me... Hans hands look like those of Tom Cruz character in Tropic Thunder.
The original release has a nicely weathered holster, while the new version doesn't have anything on the holster.
