I’m currently reading Paul’s autobiography and it is heartbreaking, he had a decent career though and scored some great goals, I wish him well (from arsenal fan)
That goal at 4:27 against Coventry is my fondest memory of Stewart in a Spurs shirt. Little me thought he was the best player in the world when he scored that.
Très touché par son témoignage concernant son enfer quand il était teenager...Sa plus belle victoire sur la vie, c'est qu'il est devenu malgré cela un grand joueur. En France, nous t'aimons Paul ❤️❤️
He was a class player for Spurs. As a Liverpool supporter I was excited when he joined us. Similar to Nigel Clough in many ways. Both class players that for whatever reason did not work out as signings for us.
I loved Paul Stewart for us. I remember he was down getting treated right near us at WHL after getting a knock, it was the first time I'd been to see Tottenham live - v Southampton - won 2-0 - 1 week before Gazza's bullet against Woolwich Arsenal - FA Cup Semi Final 1991.
A very good player for us, linked up well with Gascoigne in midfield. He helped us win the FA cup with the equalising goal in the final, good finish too

That was a great turn and volley, i would say that was his best goal for Spurs.

That header against Liverpool at WHL he ran right towards where we standing on Shelfside lower- I can see it now in my mind's eye.
It was a terrific header and the winning goal. It must be been a great game to be at, I remember watching it live on the telly
A Great Man! Love Paul Stewart

@@jackmansell8319 wish him well jack
Looking back now he was hugely underrated and should probably be remembered more.
