Railfanning at Morton Grove - high speed Amtrak train and Metra Trains

We got to Morton Grove early this morning and saw Amtrak trains SPEEDING in and out of the station on the way to Milwaukee and then one to Chicago! Make sure to stand back when these trains pull through because they are at full speed!! We also saw an outbound Metra train on its way to Fox Lake. You see a standard MP-36 3S engine on this Metra train. SE44C Siemens engines on each end of the Amtrak trains - why? - to make turning around and heading back on the line more efficient!
