I'm 20, became a fan of Samuel Adams last April after finding 6 bottles in my local supermarket and buying them after watching this video. Became my beer of choice and I always buy it, when I go and watch a hockey game at my friend's house.
Might as well buy a six-pack now. I mean, why not? Edit: actually tried Sam, now it's my favourite American lager. Another edit: I actually wound up studying Sales Management and Business, both in Finland and the U.K. (double degree) inspired by Jim Koch's book "Quench Your Own Thirst". Even made two presentations with BBC being the main project. I'm bound to graduate from Lincoln in September and from Haaga-Helia next summer. Who says you can't build a future from drinking beer? Last edit: Graduated. Thank you Jim Koch! You have a customer for life!
American beer needs to be realized as that of companies such as Samuel Adams and Sierra Nevada. Mr. Koch realized the problem even so back in the 1980’s, that is still prevalent today. Honestly Sam and Sierra are available everywhere in the states, they should be our choices when it comes to domestic.
I've always loved Samuel Adams I just felt like what they did with their original label stay change them about three years ago. I just don't know why they change their labels? The original labels were iconicit's almost like they change the label like with Coca-Cola did when it went from original to a new label, it's just not the same. The beer taste the sameand I love it all the time I also notice at Costco stop selling Samuel Adams which kind of upsets me because I still like to buy it there. there's so many good flavors at Samuel Adams that you just cannot get in stores you have to get in Boston
I love Boston Lager, it's my standard go to beer anymore. I love the local NWIPA's that I can get (Namely Ninkasi), however they're way too high in calories to have all the time. Sam Adams is what I fall back to whenever I had a hard day at work. PBR, Coors, etc. All taste like the adjuncts they use, most commonly corn. It's too sweet, and I can never enjoy it. Boston Lager however tastes like how a beer should.
I am planning to visit your wonderful brewery next spring and I need some advice. I will be traveling in my class c motor home. Is there a place nearby that you could recommend for me to park my RV and camp there while I spend hours drinking your great beer at the brewery?
It isnt an annoying joke its true, it was an english joke penned by monty python originally. I remember trying to get pissed in buffalo in the 80s and having no luck, all the beer was like nats piss, another problem being a northern Englishman in America was finding an American drinking buddy who could last past 3 pints and walk with me into the realms of 15 - 20 pints i ended up full of watered down gas.

No he doesn't get drunk yeah maybe because his beer is more of a craft beer tasting hopey beer drink one are two but he drinks other liquor don't fool me bro.
Cantillon in Belgium leaves decades old cobwebs because they believe it adds to the character of the beer. They also let natural yeast and bacteria (healthy to humans) find its way into their beers and barrels. A brewery can appear to be filthy but they still clean and sanitize everything after the hot-side process. Nothing to worry about.
Mr. Koch you make man looks like idiots .... we cannot drink 🍹 in our jobs and just dream to get home for a cold one .... do you have any positions available?
Used to drink it. Sam Adams would roll in his grave with the upcoming commie tribute beer to Ruth. Never buy it again. No Sam....no Ben and Jerry's....gonna get skinny now.
I believe his “drinking on the job” approach should apply to all workplaces.
It used to, actually. Ever saw "Mad Men" ?
@@seukfuhi no

Years ago after a friend and I sampled many, many imports I tried regular Sam Adams and surprisingly found it to be the most enjoyable to my taste.
Might as well buy a six-pack now. I mean, why not?

Koch is great but Fritz Maytag is the father of the rebirth of craft brewing in America. Love both Sam Adams and Anchor Steam.
I think Mr. Koch has to thank Mr. O'Brien for all the Willy Wonka references!
