I make 17.25 as a foreman on a landscape/paver demo. I can drive heavy machinery, trucks trailers etc. I also can lay pavers, concrete cutting, etc which we do when my boss sees it fit where he can make more by us busting out a small edging job or small patio. Also I can do pressure washing, sealing, irrigation, landscape lighting and so on. Anyways I’m in Florida and all my guys as laborers make 14-15 maybe even 16. I feel like I should be making $20 minimum.
Landscaping is hard work and very profitable... don't be greedy pay your guys good. Buy them beer once a week. Buy them lunch once every two weeks. Make them feel like they are appreciated and do good work. Otherwise they hate their job.
My boss does none of that. Never makes anyone feel appreciated. I make it a point to tell my guys on my crew how well they did and all that. It’s a morale booster. Gotta have good vibes. Wish I made enough money to get them lunch every couple weeks but 17.25 isn’t cutting it.
@@spacecoastbonsai1421 yea i was making about 2600 every two weeks while my laborers made around 1500 so my wife frequently brought dairy queen or pizza out to job sites. Every once in awhile on a friday when the home owners were not in town id go buy a 6 pack around 3pm.. and work until someones had enough or we fuck something up from having a little buzz haha.
What are you doing to make 55 k. I’m a foreman on landscape paver demo crew. Only 4 guys. I make 17.25. I definitely should make $20. But I just invested 2500 in a pressure washing company. Hoping to break 55 next year!
@@spacecoastbonsai1421 that was a salried landscape foreman position. I should clarify that here where i live our "landscaping" is hardscaping.. i grossed 68k last year just land scaping. When i posted that i was in negotiations for my salary. Ended up turning down the 55 and sticking with 26.75 as a foreman and it paid off
Very nice though. I make roughly 32k. I’m in Florida though. Just started my own pressure washing business because I want to be making 60k or better. Can’t be a slave.
What the hell im from Sydney Australia and as an installer I’m getting 35$ and have been offered a landscape Forman role at 40$ a hour

Same here. I don’t trim shrubs or do any kind of tree work. We do hardscapes landscape design and paver demo.
