I love this 4 steps! I have faced criticism on not explaining the task at hand well enough. Have you ran across the employee that feels as though you are insulting there intelligence do to your showing then watching? I hate to say always men that get obtuse when I do the first 2 steps. Feed back please and tips on what I can do to avoid this
I am going through this now with an employee. Whenever I stopped to explain the steps involved in a process they immediately come back to me complaining that I doubt their judgment that I don't believe in their capability. And I think the reason they're doing this is that I didn't follow this process on the first day I'll let them Shadow me for a week and then I started intensive training but by then they felt beyond reproach so start on day one
