Yuji: You were the Jujutsu to my Kaisen all along. Sukuna: You've finally got it. Nephew, the real Jujutsu Kaisen were the friends that died along the way. *The ending*
The train station they are at is in Kiwakate station and Kiwatake literally means “heading north,” which relates to chapter 236 “Heading south,” when Gojo died, and Heading North is “starting over,” and heading south means to “returning to your old self,” which we get a visceral display of in this chapter where Yuji is returning to his memories in a city whose name translation means “heading north” SHOUT-OUT @RADMAN FOR THE TRANSLATIONS
To expand on what this guy shared here, it's actually a bit deeper than that. Kiwakate station literally means north as stated, but the reason it's named that is because it's one of the main train lines you would take when heading north. Those locations that Yuji visits like the farm and the grassfields are all real-life locations that the Kiwakate line passes through when heading northward. So when Yuji tries to express the value of human life to sukuna, it is literally guiding him north to becoming a new person. Interestingly enough, the last location they go with the statue is the only location that is south of Kiwakate. So because sukuna rejected Yuji and remained the same person ideologically, they traveled south of the Kiwakate station. Its at this point that Yuji realizes there is no point in trying to explain this to sukuna and locks the fuck in to kill him.
I would love if the rest of the community realized that there’s an actual story here, and not a bunch of fighting and plot conveniences/contrivances. I got so drowned in the jjk brain rot, that I was shocked when I remembered that there were philosophical themes and character development
3:18 The crayfish symbolize yuji and sukuna. American crayfish are bigger and an invasive species in Japan. It shows how all sukuna cares about is power and is a parasite. The japanese crayfish symbolizes yuji finding joy in the small things.
3:21 Well from what I found around online about crayfish, the American crayfish Sukuna got would be an invasive species in Japan... which is fitting given how it parallels Sukuna's role in the narrative in how he's kind of a parasite intruding on the lives of other characters for his desires (which I feel can link back to the conversation Yuji had with Sukuna before he flew off with Uraume about the weak clinging to life at the end of the Culling Games arc).
When I read this chapter it was the first time I actually read every single part. Not just skimming through each page without solidifying what each panel said, but this chapter was different. The build up, the amount of respect that Sukuna undoubtedly has for Yuji now. It drew me to each part of this chapter and it kept me reading through this chapter. I think we know what the outcome is going to be and chapters like these really add even more depth beneath the conflict and relationships between these characters. I think I won’t be the only one to say this, but this was my favorite chapter of JJK yet. Between each fight, death, and climactic moment. This chapter really brought all of it to the table. No deaths, no punches thrown, nobody being shoved into a corner. Just bonding between Unc and Nephew. It really has me drawn even further towards Sukuna’s character, and that’s what seriously is good about any chapter with him in it at all.
I've read somewhere that the crawfish symbolism is about Sukuna's crawfish, which is American Crawfish, which is known to be invasive. Just like how he's basically a living parasite.
sukuna: I’ll kill everyone you hold dear Yuji: you do realize most of my friends are dying or dead right sukuna:…. Yuji:…. sukuna: listen here you little Shet
Someone put all of the locations on Google maps and it showed that yuji was guiding sukuna to the farm up north but when he rejected Yuji's offer they ended up South where the statue was.
The symbolism with the crayfish is sukuna is like an invasive species to jujutsu since American crayfish are invasive in japan. Yuji also got a japanese crawfish which is rarer which means his ideals of strength not being everything is harder to come by in modern day jujutsu
5:32 Bro has a VENDETTA against Megumi 💀😭 I’m so happy that Yuji broke out of his suic1dal cog mentality 😊 I would have been REALLY SAD if he died like that 😞
Not gonna lie, Sukuna screwed himself over on this one. First off, Sorcerers in general ALWAYS have to take risks to achieve complete victory. Gojo even teaches this Megumi in the form of being more Greedy. So how do you think Gojo, to the point of nearly frying his brain and getting caught in Hollow Purple, managed to put Sukuna on the brink of death on multiple occasions. Hell, even Sukuna did the same thing in the form of using Mahoraga as the blueprint for his ultimate attack, of course not without taking near fatal attacks to himself. Second, didn't Sukuna literally chastize Jogo for not taking more risks and being greedy in which was the reason for him becoming stagnant in his growth as a Curse? Like my guy, take your own advice! Lastly, Sukuna's hate boner for Yuji is unsurprisingly the reason for his downfall. The guy kept praising everyone else and returned said praise with near life-ending attacks. Yet when it came to Yuji, he underwhelmed him so much to point of refusing to take a risk that for certain guarantees his victory. Like had he FULLY acknowledge Yuji and his growth from the moment he joined the battle, he would've known that Yuji was the biggest threat out of everyone else and focused more of his efforts to incapacitate him. Now Sukuna who once had Yuji's life in his hands is now within the mercy of the very same "boring" brat. Oh how the turns tabled.
Sukuna is lowkey a bum, imagine living that long and not even once try to grow as a person, meanwhile Yuji here who isn't even in his twenties yet. Over here revaluating his life views and using it to change.
Since the memories were interact able there’s the possibility that yuji could recall people to fight along side him , making this domain *The friends we made along the way*
I like the characterization of sukuna here. I saw someone else say this in another comment but Sukuna knows what Yuji is saying. But he doesn't care. If he didn't understand compassion, that's one thing but the fact that he understands compassion. He understands mercy and things like that. He understands why people value human lives, but he just doesn't care. Makes him even more evil and that's crazy
with the crayfishes, one way to interpret the symbolism of them is in the way both of them find value in things. Sukuna tends to value strong things or big things, while Yuji mainly finds value in the uniqueness of things regardless of size. It’s an oversimplification of their philosophies when referring to value, but helps to add onto the giant pile of metaphors and hidden messages of this chapter.
Yo Noah, the symbolism for those Crawfish are to represent the souls of both Yuji and Sukuna. While Yuji's soul is vast and immensely strong, even strong enough to surpress Sukuna and every time Sukuna beats him down or kills innocent people or kills his friends, Yuji always comes back to fight him again. While Sukuna's soul is merely an inflation of strength and ego. He is insecure and almost jealous of Yuji that he was able to become that strong from being that weak, and he hates that he thinks Yuji is strong.
This chapter is so peak, considering the only enemy sukuna had talked to in a somewhat calm demeanor was gojo himself in their battle, now yuji hanging out with him
Bro’s domain so far = Yuji’s memories, he and others can interact with the things in his domain, Yuji’s domain makes them go back in time affects others as well, and Yuji BOUTTA THROW BIG HANDS.
Bro really held back to learn a cool move (cuz he wanted to according to his fans) only to have it NERF to catch Gojo off guard and have it barely hit anyone else after that 🤣🤣🤣 all that work just to have Yuji telling you he can cook you anytime? Sukuna probably felt stupid for not only risking his life for WSC but not acknowledging Yuji being the biggest threat to him cuz of his ego. His downfall is gonna be worst than he can imagine.
I find it funny that people believe what he says face value. Like hes literally lying through his teeth. Yuji asked him a personal question and he deflected it with a bad lie like uhh yeah i learned that from Fushiguro yeah sure buddy right. (had ... before he said it was from Fushigoro's memories implying this.) Yuji knows this too lol. (He says "Riight" lol) I think it’s an allusion to Sukuna’s (purposefully) enigmatic past. We don’t know much about him other than he butchered pretty everyone that stood in his way but we don’t really know what drove him towards those actions. There are several clues throughout the story that he’s more multifaceted than he lets on but we’ll have to see how that develops. Remember how disgusted he was with Yorozu's haiku? "A haiku with no seasonal words?" lol 90% of his insults are just poetry. Him telling Jogo to kneel was actually just making a metaphor for how ripe fruit should lean down from the stalk and how it's foolish to keep its head up. It makes sense since the Heian era in real life was a boom of creativity. A lot of what we consider today as traditional Japanese literature was invented during that time because of the introduction of the kana writing system. All the cool kids were poets, playwrights and novelists in Sukuna's day. On that note, According to legend, a Japanese emperor gave hydrangeas to the family of a woman he loved to apologize for neglecting her and to show how much he cared for her. In ancient Japanese culture, blue hydrangeas symbolized remorse and apology. From googling what hydrangeas mean. Relevant? Maybe he loved once but is too damaged to return to it. Maybe he responds strongly to them because he is carrying something that he can't face. He hasn't forgiven himself or the one he loves and so cannot access or understand the value of it.
I don't think sukuna meant yujis friends when he said "i will slaughter each and every human being you claim to be oh so valuable" he probably meant literally the entire population
at 3:22 it is the symbolism is bout the fact that the crayfish sukuna caught (American crayfish) is invasive like the fact that he invades other peoples bodies and causes harm while yuji's is a Japanese crayfish so he is native to the lands that sukuna invaded (his body)
2:42 I like how it seems sukuna hesitated. for just a moment. as if he was trying to come up with an excuse as to why he knows. so says it was megumi's memories not his own. but that pause tells me... maybe there is more. just maybe.
i cannot wait to see this animated and be extended like the mahoraga fight to the point of being an entire episode (or maybe even 2 to get you into it even more)

unc really be calling a mequmi a bum every chapter no matter what happens😭
midgumi hate is required
That mf is still snoozing
Sukuna has legit no fear bone in his body bro having balls to still say “brat” to a man who could kill him rn is the biggest petty ass move ever 😭🙏
Bro can NOT accept the fact that someone thinks he’s just a tweaking homeless guy.
@@rancorious7785 bro’s pride is ALWAYS ON THE LINE WITH YUJI 😭🙏
3:18 The crayfish symbolize yuji and sukuna. American crayfish are bigger and an invasive species in Japan. It shows how all sukuna cares about is power and is a parasite. The japanese crayfish symbolizes yuji finding joy in the small things.
5:31 the random megumi stray caught me lacking😭🙏
Unckuna does NOT care about his nephew’s yapping 😭😭
Uncle and Nephew time was not expected AT ALL 😭💀
Sukuna trying hard to act like his ego hasn't been shattered 🙏😭🤣
You making it your pfp is just rubbing salt on the wound
TL:DR: My new favorite chapter for the sole reason that it adds a lot of character depth and development between the conflict and plot.
Sukuna and Yuji having having that family bonding time reminds me of that one mf at the function you are forced to talk to
I've read somewhere that the crawfish symbolism is about Sukuna's crawfish, which is American Crawfish, which is known to be invasive. Just like how he's basically a living parasite.
sukuna: I’ll kill everyone you hold dear
Yuji: you do realize most of my friends are dying or dead right
sukuna:….
Yuji:….
sukuna: listen here you little Shet
Disney kaisen going hard rn 💯 💯 🔥
Fr 😭
You said it bro!💯💯🔥
I know it's a joke, but most Disney villains don't get a talk like this. Usually, they just die gruesomely lol
ain't no way that man yuji told his unc to beg for mercy, the motion on bro is wild
Someone put all of the locations on Google maps and it showed that yuji was guiding sukuna to the farm up north but when he rejected Yuji's offer they ended up South where the statue was.
The cute thing is kinda like a diss, like a little kid acting out you’d say “you’re not cute”, that’s what Yuuji meant
The symbolism with the crayfish is sukuna is like an invasive species to jujutsu since American crayfish are invasive in japan. Yuji also got a japanese crawfish which is rarer which means his ideals of strength not being everything is harder to come by in modern day jujutsu
Weak aura: “Nah, I’d win.”
STRONG AURA: “Sukuna, I can kill you.”
🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sukuna: "I will kill everyone you hold dear to you!"
Yuji: "Didn't you already do that shi"
Real
I’m very glad I decided to read ch264 and 265 before of watching a video about them. That was some of the most peak I’ve seen in a while
5:32 Bro has a VENDETTA against Megumi 💀😭
I’m so happy that Yuji broke out of his suic1dal cog mentality 😊 I would have been REALLY SAD if he died like that 😞
Yuji really said “Imma talk, then use a jutsu”
Wake up!!! Unc dropped another banger
yujikuna remains the freakiest sukuna ever. that malevolent aura cannot be matched
Yuji : Unc, maybe you were the Jujutsu to my Kaisen all along. Let's go home~
Yujikuna : What the-
Not gonna lie, Sukuna screwed himself over on this one.
Like had he FULLY acknowledge Yuji and his growth from the moment he joined the battle, he would've
known that Yuji was the biggest threat out of everyone else and focused more of his efforts to incapacitate him.
Now Sukuna who once had Yuji's life in his hands is now within the mercy of the very same "boring" brat. Oh how the turns tabled.
Was WAITING for this video as a day one Yuji glazer 😭🙏🏾
Sukuna is lowkey a bum, imagine living that long and not even once try to grow as a person, meanwhile Yuji here who isn't even in his twenties yet. Over here revaluating his life views and using it to change.
“But people aren’t tools so we aren’t with predetermined roles” *gojo randomly appearing on the screen*
Since the memories were interact able there’s the possibility that yuji could recall people to fight along side him , making this domain *The friends we made along the way*
Not Nephew trying to bring Unc back to the light side before he rocks his shit 😂😂😂
So nice to see Yuji finally out of that cog mentality
WE YUJI FANS EATING GOOD
WE UP AND THE HATERS DOWN
I like the characterization of sukuna here. I saw someone else say this in another comment but Sukuna knows what Yuji is saying. But he doesn't care. If he didn't understand compassion, that's one thing but the fact that he understands compassion. He understands mercy and things like that. He understands why people value human lives, but he just doesn't care. Makes him even more evil and that's crazy
this mf yuji acting like he not bonding with the dude who catched more bodies than i doin COD💀🤣
Bro was literally pitying him the entire chapter 😂
GUYS WAKE UP NOAHSXZ DROPPED
Yuji's got the hands of his uncle and the yapping of his mother. Truly, he is the strongest
i've never seen Sukuna so pissed before 😭 the nephew threat effect
Knowing he can pack sukuna up at anytime got yuji feelin himself.
6:44 We aint missing the Euphoria beat, W music choice
Yuji's domain expansion looks similar to when kenjaku was talking to choso before he fought him

Can't wait for ricarlo to realize how wrong he was about my boy yuji after ch 266 and then finally apologize to him for real.
The fact that sukuna searched through Megumi memories only to hate on yuji is mad crazy
Yuji's pose when he was sitting down was lowkey tougher than the Shinji sit pose, which is a hard feat to achieve in my eyes.
The one piece music during that yuji monologue was BEAUTIFUL
My exact thoughts
with the crayfishes, one way to interpret the symbolism of them is in the way both of them find value in things. Sukuna tends to value strong things or big things, while Yuji mainly finds value in the uniqueness of things regardless of size. It’s an oversimplification of their philosophies when referring to value, but helps to add onto the giant pile of metaphors and hidden messages of this chapter.
Unckuna and yuji never thought I’d see them do anything but run the fade but hey 🤷🏿♂️
Yuji isn't threatening sukuna he is not making a declaration he's making a promise and he finna keep it
This chapter is so peak, considering the only enemy sukuna had talked to in a somewhat calm demeanor was gojo himself in their battle, now yuji hanging out with him
7:14 why yuji got his dogs out
Bro’s domain so far = Yuji’s memories, he and others can interact with the things in his domain, Yuji’s domain makes them go back in time affects others as well, and Yuji BOUTTA THROW BIG HANDS.
I would've never guessed that Sukuna would actually listen to Yuji's yapping 😭🙏
Edit: Also that Euphoria in the back ground is perfect for Sukuna 💀
Bro really held back to learn a cool move (cuz he wanted to according to his fans) only to have it NERF to catch Gojo off guard and have it barely hit anyone else after that 🤣🤣🤣 all that work just to have Yuji telling you he can cook you anytime? Sukuna probably felt stupid for not only risking his life for WSC but not acknowledging Yuji being the biggest threat to him cuz of his ego. His downfall is gonna be worst than he can imagine.
“Got him in a unskipable cutscene”
This chapter went from "Hey Sukuna! Look at these cool horses!" To Yuji being literally LTG
I find it funny that people believe what he says face value. Like hes literally lying through his teeth. Yuji asked him a personal question and he deflected it with a bad lie like uhh yeah i learned that from Fushiguro yeah sure buddy right. (had ... before he said it was from Fushigoro's memories implying this.)
Yuji knows this too lol. (He says "Riight" lol)
I think it’s an allusion to Sukuna’s (purposefully) enigmatic past.
"A haiku with no seasonal words?" lol
90% of his insults are just poetry.
3:24 the Japanese crayfish looking devious rn
at 3:22 it is the symbolism is bout the fact that the crayfish sukuna caught (American crayfish) is invasive like the fact that he invades other peoples bodies and causes harm while yuji's is a Japanese crayfish so he is native to the lands that sukuna invaded (his body)
Yuji the goat using Talk-no-Jutsu™ 🗣️

Yuji's grandpa's work is the reason we got the whole plot of jjk in the first place ☠
#yujigoat The amount of hatred Sukuna must feel right now must be astronomical 😂
2:42 I like how it seems sukuna hesitated. for just a moment. as if he was trying to come up with an excuse as to why he knows. so says it was megumi's memories not his own. but that pause tells me... maybe there is more. just maybe.
DAMN is all i thought this whole chapter. fr gege is cooking hard toinight
i cannot wait to see this animated and be extended like the mahoraga fight to the point of being an entire episode (or maybe even 2 to get you into it even more)
