  • Why Did Noah Curse Canaan and Not Ham for Ham's sin if Ham was the one who did the wrong! In this video we discover two main views regarding why Noah decided/had to curse Canaan and not Ham. When we discuss these two main views one of them rises to the top and makes the most sense concerning all scriptures involved.

Who said that Ham had sinned? Besides all of those who refuse to (SEE!) Noah's sins? Just like Noah's two sons, people are refusing to (SEE!) Noah's sins. Then people cover them up by insisting that it was Ham who sinned. Getting drunk according to the bible is a sin. Drunken nakedness is a shameful sin. Cursing a man is a sin. Punishing an innocent man is a sin. Creating the first slave or servant/master class by decree is..... you be the judge.
Did Lamech prophesy a Master and Slave class?
      Genesis 5:29 NASB 1995
"Now he (Lamech) called his name Noah, saying, “This one will give us rest from our work and from the toil of our hands arising from the ground which the Lord has cursed.”
Is it possible that because God cursed the ground, Noah cursed Man by making himself a master and making men servants to himself and to other men? Is it possible that Noah violated gods requirement mentioned in Genesis 9:5 by requiring mans lifeblood to serve himself instead of God?
      Genesis 9:5 NASB 1995
Surely I will require your lifeblood; from every beast I will require it. And from every man, from every man’s brother I will require the life of man.
Is it for any reason that this incident, ( Gen 9:25 So he said,“Cursed be Canaan;. A servant of servants
He shall be to his brothers.”), is the first reference to any servant (slave in some translations)?
If you could only SEE Noah's sins, then it might be revealed that Ham was merely reporting his fathers moral downfall and Ham quite likely committed no sin in this incident.
Do you think it is without reason that the entire bible never speaks of Ham ever committing a sin?
If the bible wanted to show you a story where Ham was a sinner and Noah at this point in his life was still righteous, wouldn't it have at least mentioned Ham's sin and picked a story where Noah committed no sin?
Don't you think it is odd that the Bible tells no more stories of Noah doing anything righteous for the 350 years he lived after the Flood?
Don't you find it odd that the bible never speaks of any sin that Ham ever committed in his entire lifetime, before, during or after the incident? Not to say that Ham never sinned because it is said that all men have sinned, so why didn't the bible at least mention a few to support the idea that Ham was a sinner?
Could this be the first example of majority rule? One sees a sin and reports it and is punished by the sinner while two refuse to look upon the sin and even cover it up and are rewarded by the sinner?
      Revelation 3:18
I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of YOUR NAKEDNESS will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may SEE.

@@bettinanstevens9259 wow great explanation on this. One thing I noticed about people who preach that Ham was evil and wicked and raped his mom is they turn a blind eye to Noah's drunkenness, also they dont understand the ramifications noahs sin had on his family and are always more forgiving towards his sinful actions.
Even James 3:10 points out that what Noah did was wrong and not a good thing by having blessings and curses coming out of the same mouth.
yet in their eyes Ham is always the bad guy. I often wondered why no notoriously wicked behavior of Ham was recorded before or after the flood but they expect us to believe he was a evil, wicked man who raped his mom by twisting words around and applying Leviticus laws to his actions.
That's all a bunch of lies

Interesting idea, especially if you look at it in the same context of Issac blessing Jacob, after being tricked, thinking he was blessing Esau, who he had wanted the blessing to go to. Despite the fact that Issac wanted to bless Esau, and despite the fact that it fell to Jacob through trickery and dishonesty, Issac still could not revoke the blessing, nor pass it to Esau after the fact. We see this again when Jacob is blessing Joseph's sons and accidentally gives the greater blessing to the younger rather than the older. When Joseph attempts to correct him, Jacob says he cannot.

"Noah couldn't curse Ham because God already blessed Ham so Noah decided to curse Carnaan"... "Noah cursed an INNOCENT grandchild of his OVER SOMETHING HE DIDN'T EVEN DO." So carnaan was not a bad guy then. It was Noah's curse that made him and his generation after him bad? What a drama! Anyway, I'm glad that carnaanites were not Africans and the land of Carnaan is clearly in the middle east. So the curse has nothing to do with black Africans. Please leave black people out of this drama. The name Ham does not even mean black or tarn. The name Ham simply mean multitude, many and by extension- multiracial. The name is from the root word Hamon meaning many or multitude as in AbraHAM. Black people didn't even descend from one family line; among the Shemites, they had black people. Among the Hamites, they had blacks. Among the Japhetites, they had blacks. Noah himself was a black man but His wife was of light skin. Adam was black (his skin was from the soil) but his wife Eve was of light skin (made from bone). God's divine order was originally interracial. Shimon or Simeon in Acts 13 was a black Jew. He was not an African though he was black. He was a Jew. Africans 2000 years ago didn't bear such names. He has the same name with Peter (Simon). Simeon was well received in the early church because he was a jew who converted to Christianity. He was not a gentile convert. Does that tell you something? So many Jews were of dark skin over 2000 years ago. Africans didn't descend from one Family line. But in the process, because of racial persecution, they journeyed toward Western Africa and Central Africa. The region was too hot hence most white people avoided it. No one wanted that region because it was too hot. Blacks felt safe in Africa because it was isolated. Most Black people decided to go dwell there away from others because of racial segregation. Black people are not one people. Until this day, they have various cultures and various languages and hardly agree. The cultural diversity and language diversity should tell any intelligent person that not all black people descended from Ham. Ever before Ham was born, black people existed. Noah was a black man. Nimrod was not black. Babylonians and Assyrians are not Africans. Get your history right and stop your insults on black people. We are not cursed! We are not Carnaanites either.

Great explanation, but isn't Canaan the innocent party in this? Secondly , why would Noah's curse be honoured by God when he had gotten himself drunk in the first place. Can you imagine how you would feel paying the price for someone else's transgression? The tension and discourse that would create in your relationship with your grandfather! By Noah getting drunk and being disrespected by Ham and then cursing Canaan, he inadvertently created a future enemy of Gods chosen people in the promised land. Just my opinion. Would welcome your views, as this whole issue grieves me, as the ' curse of Ham' has been used as an excuse to enslave Black Africans and justify the racist view that our skin colour (black) is some kind of curse by God and not an genetic adaptation to ones environment in a fallen world.

I believe Canaan does something to Noah not Ham. The word translated to youngest son in Hebrew has ben for son which can also mean grandson or descendant and it's referring to Canaan imo. Ham sees what happens. He's not the one sinning and Noah doesn't include Ham in his blessing because that would include his sons and reverse the curse on Canaan.

You have conveniently missed out verse 23 which tells us that that "Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it on both their shoulders, and then went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father." Whose shoulders? Who were both of them? If Noah awoke and found himself covered why would he think that Ham had seen his nakedness? If he saw Ham in bed with one of his wives then he would know what Ham had done to him. Leviticus 20 verse 11 uses the metaphor "uncovered his father's nakedness" in reference to a son copulating with one of father's wives.
Your assertion that because Noah couldn't curse Ham because he was blessed by God so he had to curse Canaan is a possibility in a culture that punished the son for the sin of the father ( 2 Samuel 11 v 4 ) but of the four sons why choose the youngest? A good reason would be if he was the bastard son ( Deuteronemy 23 verse 2 ) that made Noah a cuckold.
Your analysis of this chapter is not very thorough and you appear to be an apologist for Noah's curse and God's poor choice in making a covenant with such a disfunctional and completely immoral family. God help Christianity if you are the best it can come up with.

Your view is interesting. But there is no evidence of any OTHER wife of Noah in the story. Also I have a problem with being uncovered necessarily indicating physical sex even with Leviticus. David danced and Michal despised him for uncovering himself before the maids of his servants (2 Sam. 6:14-22). No raping of David took place there. When Noah awoke he saw what his "younger" or "youngest" son had done? English translations differ. And I don't know what is necessarily wrong with being an apologist against a less likely interpretation. What is he doing that you are not? The only one who is "blessed" in verses 25-28 is God - "Blessed be Yahweh to God of Shem ..." (Gen. 9:26). Thanks for your contribution though.

He cursed the son because In Gen 9:1 God blessed Noah and his sons. You cannot curse what God has blessed. So Noah upon learning that Ham had seen his nakedness (Leviticus 18:8 the nakedness of thy fathers wife should not be uncovered: IT IS THY FATHERS NAKEDNESS”) it makes perfect sense when you look at scripture with scripture. It also makes sense why the other two brothers “SAW NOT THEIR FATHERS NAKEDNESS” (Gen 9:23) “their faces were backwards” “and they went in backwards and covered thy fathers nakedness” Noah’s wife. Their mother. After the act while Noah was asleep In a drunken state, they covered their mother. They didn’t partake in the sexual act with their mother. A sexual act that most likely got his mother pregnant and gave birth to his 4th son Canaan. Cannan meaning a burden. The sexual act was a burden to Noah and his Wife. Because Ham saw the nakedness of his father. Nakedness that is Noah’s wife, Hams mother

Realize that when God blessed them saying be fruitful and multiply, that opens the door for Noah and his son's to do just that as being a higher importance than marriage at the time. It is my belief that Cannan should not have been cursed. No sin committed due to God's blessing and Commandment.

Ok let's just be clear ppl. Sometimes you have to the bible as 3D not 2d. What I mean u have read the bible fwd back around and back all over again to understand it. It's not like reading a book. So what it means if u read in the kj version to "uncover fathers nakedness" as a Hebrew context but it says he SAW his nakedness. Not uncovered. Read leviticus 18:7. If u uncover your father's nakedness that means you had sexual relations with your mother.

In Leviticus it says “the nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it IS his nakedness” and it is said multiple times that seeing nakedness and uncover is interchangeable terms in the Bible, so I do believe Canaan is incest offspring. The start of Noah was angels having babies with women of earth which is not what God wanted and ends with Canaan cuz incest is not what God wanted either it is stated multiple times. Atleast that’s how I perceive it.

Huh.. a lot of holes in your explanation, the Bible always states birth in the chronological order Cain and Able, Adam and Eve, Jacob and Esau because he sold his birth right to his younger brother (Jacob) so Ham is the middle son as stated...2. There's no way seeing his father who happens to be drunk naked and asleep know Ham saw him naked and laughed at him, then someone told him... which it's not stated in the Bible. I can go on on on! pointing out the errors in your explanation... something happened the Authors made it a metaphor for some strange reason through translation.. Hard to figure out what Ham did for his father to curse his son Canaan who happens to be the father of the Canaanites a Great city but evil and wicked people same place that is being promised to Isreal... so the curse of Noah didn't really work to some extent but can clearly be seen that the Canaan built a great city ... like Ham's other son Cush ...another great city in the Bible but yet again wicked and evil people... so there's something strange about this kid Canaan. His generations where mighty people who built great cities but where evil, wicked and had sexual perversion behavior.... Canaan's curse is a mystery!

Your first example is correct, please read below. The phrase "Uncover your father's nakedness" is an idiom, meaning to sleep with your mother.
Consider these passages in Leviticus, also written by Moses.
“You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, which is the nakedness of your mother; she is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife; it is your father’s nakedness” (Leviticus 18:7-8).
“If a man lies with his father’s wife, he has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death” (Leviticus 20:11).
Notice the usage of, “Uncover the nakedness of your father, which is the nakedness of your mother.” Moses uses the idiom, then he explains it right away so the meaning is not lost.
In both cases Moses was using an idiom to basically say, “Don’t have sex with your mother,” or “Don’t have sex with your father’s wife.” Being that the passages in Genesis and Leviticus were written by the same author (Moses), it may be said that in Genesis 9 Moses was using this idiom to say that Ham had a sexual encounter with his mother (or Noah’s wife, assuming that the woman in question was not Ham’s natural mother)

Good question. I don't know, but the expression to "Uncover your Father's Nakedness" would have been understood by the readers then, that Ham had sexual relations with his mother, (as stated in Leviticus 18 and 20) which would explain why Cannan was cursed. I have only just realised this myself after reading Michael Heiser. It also gives clarity and clearly contradicts the Church's justification for the enslavement of men, women and children from Africa and exposes the foundational lie white supremacists build their arguments on.

Your reasoning is not correct. Ham, Mother and Incest = Despite that CANAAN is listed later on as Hams fourth son; in reality Canaan was a shame, and carried the curse of the scriptures that I am sharing later, and Canaan was the First Baby born after the flood through his mother and her son Ham. Noah was stressing that this son Canaan that my wife is pregnate with is not my son; but this son Canaan is my sons son born from my wife. He was very upset, and he constantly repeated, and stressed that Canaan was Hams son, and not his son. Ham woke up in confusion, and shame with a hangover because having sex with your mother is seeing your fathers nakedness. Ham went, and told his brothers Shem, and Japheth what had happened about him not going back with his wife to their tent, and stayed up to long talking over the horrible past one hundred years, the building of the Ark, the deaths, the suffering, the flood, and the Destruction on the land, the feast while getting drunker, and drunker. Shem, and his wife went back to their tent.; JAPHETH, and his wife went back to their tent, Hams own wife went back to her tent alone. Noah went back to his tent drunk, and passed out, as all of them were drunk from fermented grapes that were more potent because of the season summer, and spring being new to the new climate. Please stop teaching a false understanding of this account. A simple, accidental sexual experience from getting drunk is what happened that became very complex.. LEVITICUS 18; 8, LEVITICUS 20; 21, and DEUTORONOMY 27; 20. Everyone of the family members got drunk. All of the family members were feasting, and drinking the alcohol that Noah had made, because this was the first feast after the flood. The land up until this time had been damaged, and Noah became a farmer (Husbandman).I see the pronouns He. All this means is that Noah is represented as the patriarch of the family. He means the whole family. Also, the curse comes from the fact that since CANAAN is born of HAMS mother; indeed CANAAN is brother to Ham, Shem, and Japheth, plus he is Hams Son also. This makes the most sense. Alot more to say, but not enough time to explain. One more point though. So, Shem, and Japheth was covering up the nakedness of the femininity of their mother who was still exposed naked, and sleeping off her drunkeness laying nude in the main feast tent where the sexual evet took place. Noah, Ham, Shem, and Japheth have in common sense as father, and sons have seen each other naked while bathing, and cleaning in the lake, or river while building the Ark in the last HUNDRED YEARS. No shame with men seeing each other. Definitely a shame of them seeing the feminine bodies of the women who were not their wife's. Thank You. Jesus is Lord!!!

Ham was blessed because according to the previous chapter, God blessed Noah and his sons. No one can curse who God blessed. Noah had no authority to curse Ham. The bible teaches that God does not curse the son for the sins of the father and the loving, forgiving heart of our heavenly father is revealed when he taught you should bless not curse. The bible teaches that cursed is the man who moves his neighbor's boundary stone, which means cursed is the man who takes land that is not his. Canaan would end up taking land that was not his. Land that was given to the Israelites. Noah was a prophet. In his anger, he revealed to Ham that Canaan would be cursed [for taking the Israelites land and agreed with the curse]. Read the full story in the book of Enoch which is what this section of Genesis is based on. One thousand years after taking Israel, the Canaanites were pushed out of the land by the Israelites. Their forefathers, Shem, Ham and Japheth had sworn an oath to God not to take each other's land or fall under a curse. The Canaanite survivors were eventually absorbed into different cultures. Hannibal of Carthage was the last Canaanite ruler. The Phoenicians who developed the alphabet (22 letters, Greeks added 4) were Canaanites. Canaanites under Hannibal's rule were destroyed by the Romans (Hannibal committed suicide because he thought it shameful to be killed by the Romans). I believe it's the University of Chicago who has done a great study about the Canaanites through recent archeological finds. They were a mighty people, but all were eventually wiped out or absorbed into different cultures. The story is detailed in the Book of Enoch which was quoted in the book of Jude (the book before Revelation). Many books of the bible and sections of the bible have been removed throughout the years to support things it spoke up against like slavery and stealing land. Madai, descendant of also Japheth took land that was not his, although he asked. But to this day some of the land conflict in the Middle East involves the descendants of Madai - many struggle to own land in Middle Eastern Regions - the same curse. This also speaks against Colonialism, which is also why it is purposely misinterpreted with books and sections removed. I suggest studying the authenticity of the Apocrytha as it was originally included in the bible and removed after emperor Constantine was given authority over the church. Emperor Constantine was Pontifus Maximus, which also made him high priest of the Pagan church. He denied the deity of Christ and eventually superimposed his face on the cross of Christ. According to historians, he wanted Christians to worship him, but they would rather die. So, he provided them with tax breaks and power to support him and told them he fought under the cross. But again, he continued to worship pagan gods and denied Christ was God. Recent studies by Greek and American university professors revealed that the Arc of Constantine only honored the pagan gods that he worshipped. This arc was completed after he was professed to fight under the cross and conversion to Christianity. There is so much more to this if you study history and include the missing books of the bible which were originally included in the King James Version and understood to be authentic by early Christians. Some of these books were also quoted by some of the Apostles.

    • @marlenecrawley6838
      @marlenecrawley6838 ปีที่แล้ว

Sorry, I believe the professors who studied Constantine's Arc were American and Turkish. Needless to say, this needs to be looked at from the original story and studied in the context of history. God is not the author of confusion. The teaching of Ham's sin is absolutely not in the bible and was made up. We do not need to make assumptions or guess. The full story is very clear. But people are afraid of reading the Apocrytha because it has been said to be heresy. This is very convenient if you want to hide truth. Not to mention, this story was also used when European Slave Abolitionists were fighting against the transatlantic slave trade. It was used to justify the slave trade and combat the European abolitionists. Slave traders knew that Canaanites had no connection to sub-Saharan Africans who were being traded. See Revelation 18:13-24 for the Heavenly father's sentiments and judgement of nations who bought everything including slaves.

  • @shauntikayvette

The Bible gives you the context in Leviticus 18:7-18. A father’s nakedness is his wife which aligns to theory 1. Many assumptions are being made to get to theory 2. The Bible does not confirm Ham as the youngest. However the culture supports taking a father’s wife or concubine as an action to usurp as Absalom with King David in 2 Samual 16:22. Ham could have also be trying to usurp Noah. The text also reference the father’s nakedness when stating how Shem and Japheth covered not just their father but their fathers nakedness.

it doesn't add up bro. Ham was the middle son of Noah and not the last born and neither the youngest of the trio. Ham dad 4 sons and canaan was the last born, the youngest and not the younger son. so judging from superlative adjective, he could have laid the curse on Ham's second or third son but instead he went straight to the last born. His position and that of his father's aren't same. So i still think, maybe Ham might have gone beyond only seeing his father's nakedness and might have laid with someone in that process. Leviticus 18 says the following and did mentioned the cananites of whom we believe are from the son of Ham : " 18 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, I am the Lord your God. 3 You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived, and you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, to which I am bringing you. You shall not walk in their statutes. 4 You shall follow my rules[a] and keep my statutes and walk in them. I am the Lord your God. 5 You shall therefore keep my statutes and my rules; if a person does them, he shall live by them: I am the Lord." then after these words in verses 6, He gave them the laws which says sleeping with someone is same as seeing their nakedness. I don't mean to say this is actually what harm did but we should also consider viewing it like this too. The Lord told them not to behave like the Cananites and all of sudden realeases a bunch of laws on "incest"? come on, give it a thought again.

When Canaan calls his brother Ham came and laughed but the curse was directly to Canaan. It was testified and cleared by scholars said of changes was true because of sensitive situation and other reason ( I forgot the name the Rabbi ) So clearly Noah cursed Canaan not like in bible text Canaan father is Ham and the wrong doing of Ham pass the curse to Canaan. Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
    * As written in the Scriptures, when the Patriarch (Abraham, Isaac, Joseph…) of the family senses he is NEAR DEATH, he calls upon his sons to his bedside to receive their blessing/s, curse/s that is/are bestowed upon their lineage, as well as, any future prophesies…
Case in point: Genesis 9:25 And he said, CURSED BE CANAAN; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 9:26 And he said, BLESSED BE THE LORD GOD OF SHEM; and Canaan SHALL BE HIS SERVANT. 9:27 God shall ENLARGE JAPHETH, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan SHALL BE HIS SERVANT. 9:28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. 9:29 AND ALL THE DAYS OF NOAH WERE NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS: AND HE DIED.
We have to take in consideration that within three hundred and fifty years of Noah’ life after the flood, they had to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 9:1). NOAH ALSO TAUGHT HIS GRANDSONS THE ORDINANCES AND COMMANDMENTS THAT WERE PASSED DOWN BY HIS FOREFATHERS to put God first, obey thy parents, the Dietary Laws, respect thy neighbor… However, as the families grew they strayed away from keeping the commandments.
^^The Book of Jubilees- 7:20 And in the twenty-eighth jubilee [1324-1372 A.M], Noah began to enjoin upon his sons' sons the ORDINANCES AND COMMANDMENTS, and all the judgments that he knew, and he exhorted his sons to observe righteousness, AND TO COVER THE SHAME OF THEIR FLESH, and to bless their Creator, and honour father and mother, and love their neighbour, and guard their souls from fornication and uncleanness and all iniquity.
Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
    The Book of Jubilees
[Chapter 7] Noah plants a vineyard and offers a sacrifice,
    1. And in the seventh week in the first year [1317 A.M.] thereof, in this jubilee, Noah planted vines on the mountain on which the ark had rested, named Lubar, one of the Ararat Mountains, and they produced fruit in the fourth year, [1320 A.M.] and he guarded their fruit, and gathered it in this year in the seventh month.
    2. And he made wine therefrom and put it into a vessel, and kept it until the fifth year, [1321 A.M.] until the first day, on the new moon of the first month.
    3. And he celebrated with joy the day of this feast, and he made a burnt sacrifice unto the Lord, one young ox and one ram, and seven sheep, each a year old, and a kid of the goats, that he might make atonement thereby for himself and his sons.
    4. And he prepared the kid first, and placed some of its blood on the flesh that was on the altar which he had made, and all the fat he laid on the altar where he made the burnt sacrifice, and the ox and the ram and the sheep, and he laid all their flesh upon the altar.
    5. And he placed all their offerings mingled with oil upon it, and afterwards he sprinkled wine on the fire which he had previously made on the altar, and he placed incense on the altar and caused a sweet savour to ascend acceptable before the Lord his God.
Noah becomes drunk and exposes his person,
    6. And he rejoiced and drank of this wine, he and his children with joy.
    7. And it was evening, and he went into his tent, and being drunken he lay down and slept, and was uncovered in his tent as he slept.
    8. And Ham saw Noah his father naked, and went forth and told his two brethren without.
    9. And Shem took his garment and arose, he and Japheth, and they placed the garment on their shoulders and went backward and covered the shame of their father, and their faces were backward.
The cursing of Canaan and blessing of Shem and Japeth, (cf. Gen. ix.20-8).
    10. And Noah awoke from his sleep and knew all that his younger son had done unto him, and he cursed his son and said: 'Cursed be Canaan; an enslaved servant shall he be unto his brethren.'
    11. And he blessed Shem, and said: 'Blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant.
    12. God shall enlarge Japheth, and God shall dwell in the dwelling of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant.”
Noah's sons and grandsons and their cities
[Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, VISITING THE INIQUITY OF THE FATHERS UPON THE CHILDREN UNTO THE THIRD AND FOURTH GENERATION of them that hate me;]
    13. And Ham knew that his father had cursed his younger son, and he was displeased that he had cursed his son. and he parted from his father, he and his sons with him, Cush and Mizraim and Put and Canaan.
    14. And he built for himself a city and called its name after the name of his wife Ne'elatama'uk.
Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

If you notice, at many points geneology strays from giving sons in order and gives them in importance order. Maybe canaan was the youngest but i dont see anything that implies that. Firstly, because "nakedness" can have another meaning, does not therefore mean this is what Genesis is talking about. That is now making an assumption.
You still have to follow context to ascertain what makes sense in the narrative. Noah got drunk and the Bible says he was uncovered.

I was surprised that you think he simply looked at his father naked when, it is very clear that, according to Leviticus 18:6 "None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness; I AM Yahuah thy Elohim." To uncover your father's nakedness means to have SEXUAL relations WITH HIS WIFE! She and Noah probably celebrated together and were both drunk and naked together. And Ham went in and saw his mother passed out and took advantage of her. SO... he DID sleep with his mother, and Noah woke and knew it because his wife was covered with an unfamiliar covering. And then he probably asked who did the covering and why, and Shem and Japheth told him when he was sober. And he presumed she would be pregnant and he cursed the illegitimate, LAST born son, of Ham...born of rape and incest. You say it doesn't make sense, but it makes PERFECT sense! What doesn't make sense is thinking that Noah, who understands blessing and cursing, and the importance of lineage and inheritance, would curse a GRANDSON simply because his son Ham....saw him naked.

I disagree with the interpretation that Noah's son, HAM had raped his mother (Noah's wife) and bore a son named CANAAN... How?... let us analyze...
Q1? ...Why were Japeth and Shem required to walk backward holding a blanket to cover the nakedness of Noah if the mother (Noah's wife) was the one raped by Ham?...
Q2?... And why was Ham laughing at Noah being drunk naked?...
Q3?... Was the "Walking Backward holding a blanket" by Japheth and Shem to cover Noah's nakedness a Metaphor and not a literal Action?...
Q4?... Was Noah's Nakedness also a metaphor, and not a literal Nakedness?...
Q5?... Why was the wife of Noah never RESIST the incest rape of her son, Ham, or at least shout for HELP to her 2 Sons?... as if the mother had given HAM her permission to have sex with her... if that is the case, that is not called RAPE, but A CONSENTING INCEST, logically speaking...
But, unfortunately, that was not what actually had really happened... how?... let us analyze the narration of the Bible (Scripture)...

The narration of the Bible was that after Noah woke up and was told the story of what Ham had done, Noah got angry with Canaan... How can Noah have been able to put a curse (punish) on Canaan if the boy was not yet born at the time the incest rape took place?... No woman can bear (give birth) to a bastard son after being raped for just a day or single night... unless the boy was already existing at the time Noah got drunk, logically speaking...
Take note:... During the Time of Adam and Eve up to the time of Noah, The LAW OF MARITAL INCEST was not yet given or implemented by God to mankind... As long as "Man to Woman" relationship regardless of their blood ties and not same-sex relationship... for example, "Brother to Sister," "Male Cousin to Female Cousin," "Aunt to Nephew," like the Parents of Moses, and "Uncle to Niece" relationships like the parents of Jacob (Isaac and Rebecca) were still allowed by God up to the time the Israelites were slaves in the Land of Egypt...
Remember, LOT (Abraham's Nephew) and his 2 daughters slept with him while he was drunk after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and God allowed it to happen at that time, and never mentioned in the Bible that God had cursed Lot's descendants because of the INCEST done by his 2 daughters... Only during the Israelites' EXODUS towards the Promised Land that God had given to Moses the LAWS at Mt. Sinai... and one of the Mosaic Laws was the Prohibition of INCEST MARITAL LAW...
Most Bible Scholars, Theologians, and Apologists, that HAM had sodomized his own father while Noah was drunk (the same-sex Sin of Ham against God)... that is why Japhet and Shem had to walk backward carrying the Blanket to cover the literal nakedness of their father... Noah was the one raped by his son, HAM... and not Noah's wife... HAM has a BISEXUAL INCEST BEHAVIOR.
Why did Noah curse CANAAN, (the son of Ham, Noah's grandchild) who already existed at the time of the crime, and not HAM himself?... To give more PAINS and SUFFERINGS toward HAM to bear his descendant... If Noah cursed HAM, eventually the curse STOP at HAM when he died... but if from Ham's son, CANAAN, Ham will still bear his descendant curse even until he is gone...
Analogy... for example... "If you like to extract secret information from a person, do not torture the person, for the person will endure the pain even to accept his own death, BUT if you use to leverage the person's LOVE ONES or try to torture his LOVE ONES, he will NEVER be able to bear the pain of seeing them hurt and most likely give up his secret information for the sake of his love ones... the same analogy...
It might sound unfair to the innocent boy CANAAN for the Crime/Sin of his father (Ham), but God allowed it to happen... WHY?... because God himself "curses or punishes the children for the Sins of their Father up to the 3rd and 4th Generations" of a person's descendant who has atrocity (hate) with God (Deut. 5:9)... the same analogy with Noah to Ham's son, Canaan...
Facts and Truth, Biblically and logically speaking... Praise be to God in Christ... Amen.

Hey, correct me if I am wrong... I don't think if noah sinned by getting drunk as at the time of noah, there were no laws, no commandments or any other stuff which can define sin,.. And the Bible says that noah was a God fearing man and logically speaking, if somehow he knew that doing all those stuff (drunkenness, nakedness etc) is a sin in God's eyes, he must have not done that.... But again just an assumption, you are free to correct me brother

Noah was adamic - atlantean of the main lineage of Adam and Eve situated in the Caucasus. He wasn't of Cain's far - asian, mongoloid - eyed bloodline. Noah was already a righteous man before God before the flood and was not unjust in the curse he uttered against Canaan. Noah did not curse Khan. Canaan, his grandson, was the one who really got him drunk, surreptitiously, cup after cup, while he was already fed up listening to his tedious pre - deluge biblical stories. Afterwards alarmed at the alcoholic state in which grandfather had become, Canaan left his grandfather's tent and ran to call his father, Khan. The rest of the story is contained in the biblical account. Canaan is the ascendant of short, short, and pygmy individuals in all their ethnic crosses. Cush for his part, he was cursed by God for the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah when he was still of Caucasian phenotype/ethnicity. Cush became the ascendant of the brown and black peoples of southern Asia, Oceania, Australia and Africa.

Ham and his 2 brothers were already Blessed, so therefore, Noah could not pronounce a 'curse' on his Blessed son - Ham 'saw' his father's nakedness' and when Noah awoke from his drunkenness, he said, 'I know what you did' - That is telling you that an action was performed - 'To see his father's nakedness' is to 'uncover his father's nakedness' , which means that while Noah lay drunk and exposed, Ham took the opportunity to have relations with his mother and ran outside and told his brothers - Some months later, Noah seeing his wife pregnant and knowing it was NOT him, automatically knew it was Ham and he 'cursed' the child in her womb which turns out to be Canaan.

The problem I am having with your narrative, about Noah cursing Canaan, because Ham was the youngest son of Noah, and Canaan, being the youngest of Ham, is that Noah cursing Canaan should have a parallel somewhere else in the Bible and it doesn't (Please show me a parallel somewhere else in the Bible). However, there are illicit sexual acts (incest) with Ham and his mother producing a child in the Bible. Hence, why the story is being told... to warn people of the consequences of INCEST... Examples include: Tamar and Judah, Lot and his two daughters, David's son Amnon and his daughter Tamar, but are not limited... My point... Incest is a running theme throughout the Bible (Ham and his mother makes since to me, because it is a re-occuring theme throughout the Bible) This behavior has far reaching consequences than you will ever know. The book of Leviticus spends several chapters telling men and women, who they cannot have sex with, and most of the sexual laws deal with incest. Family members having sex... So... my friend... very valid points you make, however, there are no parallels with anything else in the Bible... But incest is spoken about so much, because of this practice being so common (All of this... After the FLOOD)!
