And for anybody that might not know, you'll get a much calmer animal going this route versus an animal that has gone through a sale barn. Good looking group Mr. Cliff
Heyaa! I came across your video, and I have to say it’s really lively! Btw I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts out of them.
@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher I see that PCC is using a nice looking Mashona sire to produce composites. They are even smaller than South Polls from my understanding so maybe not for everyone, especially those selling to the local sale barn market.
We're having success with Mashona-Lowline composite cattle in the heat and humidity of Tampa Bay. We got our first set of composite cattle from Zachary Abney's Refarm ranch in Southern Oklahoma. Other ranches i see see having success with Mashona-cross cattle include the Addison ranch in Southern Oklahoma, the Running T Beef Farm in Western North Carolina, Ayavallah Land Company in Northern Florida, Fire and Salt LLC in East Texas.
❤❤VIDEOS❤❤I’m glad to hear that ❤❤you have some really nice cows ❤❤

These calves are really gentle. That’s what you want on a small farm.

Glad your PCC bull healed up! Best wishes selling your calves
Glad the bull pulled through!
Me too. I was hopeful but concerned.
I guess I need to get my ranchette going and get some cattle...in the meantime I'll enjoy your operation, Cliff!
No time like the present! 😃😃
That white longhorn/south poll cross looks like he'd make a bull!

I know there are some regenerative folks starting to use Mashona genetics. Have you looked into them much?
I haven’t. I know what they are but that’s about it. I’m all ears though.
