Excellent video. Thanks from East Texas. Planning on doing the same thing, so watching with anticipation.

We missed your videos and straight-up-the-center honesty and teaching. Hope you heal well and enjoy that seed drill; it’s a beauty!

It sure is good to hear from you again. I will pray for your continued healing. Your pastures are going to provide some quality grazing in a few weeks. Looking forward to an update on your herd soon.

I'm very glad to see you back. The place is looking good. I am surprised at how fast your mix started coming up. I am looking forward to seeing how it impacts your gain and your pastures.

Good to hear from you Cliff. Hope the healing goes well. I'd love to do something similar in my pastures. A drill is outside the budget but I may be able to hire a farmer in the area to do it for me once I've done some mesquite eradication first!

This should work great, I have done it before with Vetch, Cow Peas and Millet.

I'm excited to see how this works for you. I enjoy planting new and different species of plants for soil health and grazing and watching them grow. I hope this works out very well for you! The drill is a big advantage, the mixes we were able to drill in the past had much better success than the areas where I've broadcast the mixes.

How many acres did you plant and how long did it take?

I'm curious as to why you chose some of the seeds you did. I understand the diversity but were there specific soil improvements you were seeking?

I asked the guy at Green Cover Seed for recommendations for grazing and for my locale. That’s what he came up with.

@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher this is what I've learned so far and it's not much, sunflowers accumulate toxins and heavy metals from the soil. They also loosen heavy soil with root mass. This fascinated me about okra, it helps to sweeten the soil.
