When I first watched this clip, my jaw dropped when Susan was asked was she ready to date again. That question was completely inappropriate and insensitive. It hasn’t even been a year since her husband passed away. They were married for almost 53 years, and had a very close and special relationship. Susan was the same classy and gracious person she always is in answering, but you can tell that the question hurt her. I pray for her all the time. I watched my mom go through losing my dad, and I wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone.

@@cidweinbergExactly. Even as recently as February of this year when she was on Sherri Shepherd’s show she said that she wasn’t ready to date again. I honestly don’t think she ever will be, and that’s perfectly fine.

YES! I lost my husband a year ago. I still feel married. The last thing I'm thinking of is "getting back out there." Shame on her for asking such a question.

Always a huge fan of Susan, was lucky enough to watch the first episode of All My Children and the rest of it! What a beautiful husband she had, you could see how he adored her in the few times I saw them together ❤️
I wish they would put the whole All My Children episodes/seasons on a DVD box set , it would sell a lot & pretty sure it would gain more fans of people who were not born at that time or the fans who miss watching it !

There's something wrong with that interviewer, she has no sensitivity to Susan's loss.
The cold callousness of the interviewer it abhorrent. She seems to enjoy seeing her subject in emotional pain and, in stead of properly changing the subject, she carries on in the most inappropriate jovial manner. No one deserves to have salt dumped into a fresh wound. Have some compassion.
