I had a bad back sunburn once and the itching was so bad I cried. What helped me was standing shirtless with my back to the clothes hanging in the closet and moving back and forth with the hanging clothes gently swooping over my back. Then I would wrap myself in a sheet, shirtless was important, and roll side to side in my bed. I also used aloe and anti itch spray.
A nurse friend told me to use Preparation H for bad suburn..yep. So I did, it does help! I put it on a long handled soft back applicator

Hope are all better now Ann nothing worse then a bad sunburn. I think I need to buy myself a short crop t-shirt to wear in the water hoping to go on a cruise in Feb. I don't want to get those water tops & feel like a seal lol I have dragging out all my crap to have a yard sale I hope soon time is running out for the yard sales so sorting it all & getting it ready too much crap in the house & items not selling in months. Always good to catch up with you.
I buy label sheets that are not divided. Then I can just cut them out quickly however I want. I could never get them to line up so that solves the problem. 🥰🇨🇦

I feel for ya with the sunburn. I have a condition called MCAS, which makes my body produce insane amounts of histamines. I helped my husband wash his car, and just from having the hose water touch my skin, I broke out in a rash similar to shingles. I just can't handle being in the sun anymore. Just another reason to stay in the A/C!!
I feel for you! I burn easy too. I usually used water babies fifty spf. Hubby bought some in a spray can just a Wal-Mart brand .it worked so well and easier to apply even to your own back!! Dries super fast unlike lotion.

Oh Anne, and all the commenters,I feel ya! So sorry about the sunburns! I’ve had so many pre-cancers and melanomas so I am covered head to toe if I have to go in the sun. If it’s hot, I just about die with all the clothes on.
Ann, so glad to hear that you went to the water park. A few weeks ago you had commented to me that you weren’t able to go to a water park because of your neutropenia. Were you able to get in the water? Did your Dr give you the ok to go? Not sure what the limitations of neutropenia are. Were you ok other than the sunburn? So happy to hear you were out enjoying yourself with family. Sounds like you had a great time!
I did go in the water a bit but didn't submerge myself. Although I did stand under the big bucket that dumps water on you every minute to entertain Sophie, lol!

Sunburn's are the worst...I always miss a spot on my body too...my Aldi was out of the cheese too...and I live 1/2hr from company headquarters...must have been a manufacturing issue...hope you're feeling better😊
