Used to cost me £3.00 for a child's North Wales Weekly Explorer back then - would ride & ride behind these all day. Great video bringing back some happy memories - thanks.
Excellent footage 👍 Class 33s on the North Wales coast were short lived from what I remember, about a year I'm guessing that 47518 failed while on test, as the loco under test would normally have been at the front of the consist
Another good video there ur mate has done for ya with the big camera and big batterie, anyway enjoyed this one I used to love the yellow and blue colour on our British railway trains looked mint, now I don't know who owns what on our railways and the names loafs of company's,,, anyway godbless you and keep safe pal,
The train at 1:05 has a lot of First class coaches on it, even the few without yellow stripes look based on the number of windows to be declassified First class. 8 out of the 11 have First class yellow strip, the other 3 look like ex First class.
Food spot Waverley. Almost the entire train was first class... I’m guessing much of it was declassified. I wonder why? Maybe it was a relief extra service. I used to love it when a rake like that turned up.... there was nothing like a bit of declassified luxury was there?

Was it only a year T37? I have such fond memories of them thrashing their way along the coast that it seemed like they were there for longer!
Thanks for the great comment by the way. Really glad you’re enjoying the collection.

Large logo is definitely my own personal favourite livery Lee. Thanks for the great comments.
