Ukraine are better at Eurovision than Sweden imo as they take different routes when it comes to their entries whereas Sweden always follow the same formula. Ukraine are also the only country to qualify from a semi to the final. And it's just a shame I can't select Marauv as my all time favourite Ukraine entry.

Yet a wonderful reaction from two favourites on TH-cam! Ukraine always try their best. They've got ambitions. Their entries are not always in my taste, but they always deliver. Their songs always have a touch of greatness. Personally I've got a soft spot for Tina Karol's entry from 2006. But for the first time I wish I could've vote on more than one song.

Best Eurovision country ever imho, should have won also in 2007 imho. "Wild Dances", "Show Me Your Love", "Be My Valentine", "Dancing Lasha Tumbai", "Shady Lady" AND "Solovey" are all amazing, and the rest (except for 2003, 2005, 2011 & 2017) all rank from good to above average as well, such a strong country!

Really 2020 is the biggest mistake because of the voice…. So 2021 the same voice give us 5th place! And the 2th place by audience voting🤷♂️ For me GO_A was amazing!😝

The 2005 song “Together we are many, we cannot be overcome” was chosen for the contest because there was an Orange Revolution in Ukraine and this song became the anthem that was sung on the Maidan during those days. So they won the selection because it's a historical song for the country - read the lyrics. And the 2nd place was taken by Ani Lorak - A Little Shot Of Love

Since the introduction of the semifinal round in 2004, Ukraine and Australia are the only countries outside the Big 5 to have qualified for the final of every Eurovision they have competed in. Maria Yaremchuk is the daughter of the legendary Ukrainian singer Nazariy Yaremchuk. He was just incredible, but unfortunately, he died early. His daughter continues his work. I highly recommend watching her video for the song “You are in me”. You will love it)

My favourite is MÉLOVIN 2018 he was robbed by the juries and I still don't understand why , an honourable mention would be 2014 as at the time of the concert it was my winner ! Well, just imagine what it would be like for Ukrainians to listen to Jamala's song if the words of her song are repeated to our people over and over again... russia has been doing this to us for 400 years. It is incredible, deep, fundamental to our culture. It introduces us to the traditions of Crimea, shows the intersection of the cultures of Ukraine and Crimea. And her music is very stylish, and her lyrics are really deep. With her voice, it's hard to make songs that would be trendy, but it turns out very well. For example, her latest song “Люблю”

My favorites are 2004, 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2018. I really like 2017 but they had the wrong staging for Eurovision. They should have kept the digital countdown clock from the national final for their stagin instead of the massive head. That's why it is not in my top 5. Verka is good too but not quite in my top 5. I really don't like 2009 and I'm not a fan of 2020 either sorry and 2003 is a boring first entry.
