Did you notice any difference in fuel economy after you did this work? I'm not having idle stall issues on mine but the fuel economy is bad (even by V6 4.0 standards)
No, but I think the fuel economy was fairly "decent" for driving around town averaging 14mpg, 13.3ish with the rooftop tent. What are you getting? And do you have larger than stock tires?
@marcjterry typically AT tires will be heavier because they're a tougher/thicker rubber compound compared to all terrain, and also the tread blocks aren't "flat" like regular tires, those 2 things would effect mileage even if they're the stock tire size. Something you could try to do to increase mpg is get a K&N filter and clean out the throttle body. And if you haven't already, remove the spare tire which is an unpopular option but can make a difference as well
nice that the EGR is easier to get to on the v6
@@GeeEmm-by3wm definitely, when I saw the comparisons I was really surprised of the relocation for the V8

@@EnterTheRoverI get around 12 mpg. Predominantly city driving, stock tyre size but a more aggressive all terrain pattern
