Hey everyone, thank you for the detailed observations and feedback! During our research, we found that accurate big game anatomy placement can vary greatly throughout the hunting community-from game officials to veterinarians, and it's great to get your feedback! We're always updating our technology to ensure it's as accurate as possible. This video was taken with our preproduction settings, and the currently released version has updated deer heart placement as you suggested to reflect its position and ensure accuracy.
In every deer I have ever field dressed I found a heart sitting against the chest wall, not behind the front leg. The lung location is perfect. Useful tool but the anatomy has to be right.
Thanks for your feedback! We've updated the deer heart placement in the latest version of our app to reflect its correct position. We appreciate your insights to help us improve our accuracy. We are excited use these targets in new and exciting ways like focusing on ethical shots, and not on scoring rings!
As usual P.J. Riley does an amazing job demonstrating products. Enjoyed this video and very impressive technology for learning shot placement. I wish though, that y'all would have also spent time on the arrows effect on the lungs as most bow hunters are aiming at the lungs not the heart. It would have been interesting evaluating each arrows placement in the lungs. For instance, which arrows hit both or only one lung.
My only critique is they have the heart (vitals in general) a little far back.. I speak from 15 years experience and lots of heart shot deer, the heart is located directly above the leg. The golden triangle is the golden standard.
Thanks for your feedback and sharing your experience! We've updated the heart placement in the latest app version to better reflect the "golden triangle" standard you mentioned. We are excited to hear what you think on the current version for the deer, elk, and grizzly!
We have some really exciting things planned for the future of this technology. . . This initial release is only the first step in the journey! Stay tuned! 🙌
Haha, yes we did say that, and that is what they are called for some silly reason . . . but we have tested them, and they definitely will not emerge from a direct arrow impact unscathed! 🙂
Not a big fan of the the app so far, I’ve had it for months and the Apple never says in the same spot and the arrow scan never works! I hope you can iron out the bugs before you get people to spend money on targets!
Thank you for the feedback on the demo app that was released back in January 2024. We’ve done a lot of work since then, and this new release is focused on interacting with 3D targets in new and exciting ways . . . This is just the beginning!
As of the time of posting this comment, the most affordable QuivAR target produced is the Big Daddy Buck at $350. 3D buck targets a LAS can cost anywhere from $110 to nearly $800 (again, at time of commenting) based on brand and quality of target, so we believe the QuivAR buck to be right in the sweet spot of affordable and high-quality - especially when you factor in the ever-evolving QuivAR technology that comes with it.

Great Thanks
It's like 4" more toward the front of the deer on the broadside shot angle where PJ put his finger on the target.

Amazing innovation for the bow hunter . This will be game changing for all true killers .
Very cool product
Great job, guys!! Love it! ✌️👌👍🎯🤟♥️🇨🇦
Wow that last shot on the deer is crazy off.

Yes, PJ is a legend! That’s great advice about aiming for double lung shots! We have a lot of videos planned for the near future, so stay tuned!
Trouble is no depths are showed I don’t think the first one may have hit inline with the heart but did the arrow reach the heart

@@QuivAR_app I’m looking forward to trying it out guys 🤙🏼
@@EthanPageHunter Thanks! We are excited about releasing new 3D targets and species, as well as other new features very soon!
Thats really cool and will help a lot of people 😊
Very cool technology! Now build that into range finder/binos based on live deer and you’ve got a winner!
We have some really exciting things planned for the future of this technology. . . This initial release is only the first step in the journey! Stay tuned! 🙌
Any future support for arteries?!?! I think PJ had the better shot on the last one!
We have some great things planned for the future, and adding arteries is a great feature request!
I take it they built it 4" to far back for mechanical shooters to keep them away from shoulder bone lol
Amazing!!
So why is the heart showing so far back? Thats not really where it is in a deer.
Gotta agree with everyone in the comments. The heart is a little too far back
@theranchfairy what do you think?
Did he just say “ballistics grade NFC Chips”?
Haha, yes we did say that, and that is what they are called for some silly reason . . . but we have tested them, and they definitely will not emerge from a direct arrow impact unscathed! 🙂
@@QuivAR_appthanks! We had a good laugh over that one! Looks like a great tech!
Haha! Right after I said it, I thought “I shouldn’t use that term with this audience!” 😂 I’m glad someone caught it! 😊

I hope they are better on the elk than they are on the deer. Because the deer heart is way off.
Thanks again for pointing this out! We're continually improving to ensure accuracy across all species!
Great hopefully you can come back on this show when you get it right and we can see the changes.
Now that's frigging awesome tech, teaching people where to shoot, instead of bull crap 11 rings that are NO WHERE close to vitals.
We are really excited about the “HuntAR” scoring system we are working on too-no more rings . . . Even for scoring! Stay tuned!
Levi
I wanna know WTF kind of hunter will be able to afford this 😅lol
