Hey Everyone,
In today's video, we're going to install Chris' Axle-Back Exhaust by AWE! The process is easy to do and only requires cutting in one location, but in today's video, we'll show you how to safely make the cut with ease! By upgrading the exhaust on your F30 BMW 340, you can let that B58 roar! Please note, this car has been flashed with BootMod3 and may have more burbles than a completely stock car.

Installing this on my 330i
That's a great addition Chris. Can you put the size of the tips you installed in the description as well? The website shows 90, 96, and 102mm options. I suspect you have the 102mm installed but it would be nice to have that clarified for when I order this upgrade.

How does this exhaust with smog check? Do you also need mid pipes to get full extra hp?

There is NO actuator . That the only bad thing about it. I thing, I'll go with Remus...
Will this work for a 330i as a duel tip conversion, and if not what would be another good way?

I love AWE exhausts! Got the track exhaust for my F80 and it never gets boring. Except at 5 in the morning when you turn on the car and remember how loud the cold start is without a valved exhaust lol
I have a question. I’m installing the AWE axle back exhaust on my 2020 BMW 430 grand coupe. I only cut the old exhaust pass the dimple a quarter of an inch. When I mount the exhaust and put all the couplers in tighten everything, my downpipe is hanging and hitting the crossbars underneath. Resulting in rattling noise. is this because I did not cut the pipe 2 1/4 inches as you described and so there’s too much pipe?
Can someone please answer this question?

One question pls. I have bmw 540i g30 2018 Msport, and if i install this exhaust, the sound will be much diferent? ( i have no tunning 340hp)

That sound clip of the stock exhaust didn’t sound right. I have a stock 340 and is sounds much better than that clip. I have no doubt that the upgraded exhaust sounds better than stock, but that clip is very misleading. Otherwise a very good tutorial.
Looks like the rear diffuser was replaced with 330i diffuser some time before this install? Back doesn’t look like my M340i.
most of f3X can be done at f2X ? :O
Kind of wish it had a active valve system so whit a push of a button you can drive and not to cause to much noice in different situations. I love the sound tho it’s so raw

The burbles ruined it for me. Seems like an oversight to not record revs with the burbles and without.
It's pretty lazy of bmw not putting a join, and requiring us to cut
