Pixel Dan steps into Knowhere Toys, a hidden gem nestled in the vibrant streets of Miami, Florida, on a mission to find the perfect "Travel Toy" for his upcoming cruise. As the sun filters through the windows, casting a warm glow on rows of vintage collectibles, his eyes light up with excitement. He begins his search, sifting through shelves packed with nostalgic treasures.
His first stop is the Masters of the Universe section, where figures like He-Man, Skeletor, and rare playsets bring back memories of childhood battles. Next, he moves to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles display, spotting vintage figures of Leonardo, Donatello, and a few elusive villains, pondering which one could make the ideal companion on his trip. Pixel Dan then turns to the G.I. Joe display, hunting for a small yet iconic figure like Snake Eyes or an Alley Viper to tag along on the cruise.
The Star Wars section catches his eye last, with pristine figures from both the original trilogy and the prequels. He debates grabbing a classic Luke Skywalker or a rare Boba Fett, the perfect travel-size reminder of his love for the galaxy far, far away. As he browses through the aisles of Knowhere Toys, each vintage toy brings him closer to making the ultimate decision on which collectible will join him on his adventure at sea.

I normally don't bring a travel toy. I did once though. First big vacation my wife and I took when we were still dating. We went to Alaska. I brought with me the original NECA TMNT Leonardo. While we were up there, we went on a gorgeous hike and walked around a beautiful lake. I took the opportunity to take some cool photos with the toy. I kinda wished I had a cool predator figure with me to "track" Leonardo through the Alaskan woods and try to out-ninja him, lol. My wife called me a dork, but joined in on the fun 😊.
Merman for sure wins the photo category! An old figure however so well done!

I definitely love taking a plastic friend or 2 with me on vacations and road trips. My favorite thing to do is probably take a picture of it relaxing on the hotel room bed like they're on vacation too lol
I think Merman would be great on the beach with a Barbie beach chair and umbrella.
I’ve been doing the Action Figure on vacation for a while. Take cool pictures and just have fun with it.
Yes I have many photos on vacation with my skeletor and sectaurs. I'm glad I'm not the only 46yr old weirdo bringing action figures for myself on vaca...😂

I did bring a moving toy for a few years. There's a DC Primal Age Batman that went with me on a few major moves.
Then I used the Wave 1 McFarlane Super Powers Batman for a similar move.

I always fill up a little container with toys to take with me on vacation so that I make a toy shelf at our vacation home.

I have a reissue 80s Michelangelo that permanently resides in my travel backpack just in case I get the urge to take pics.

I travel with at least one action figure. Even got a pat down from TSA when I had a Kenner style Kubrick Boba Fett in my pocket and when they asked what’s in your pocket I said “It’s just Boba Fett”.

Vacation includes time to being able to turn the fikter off of the wrok angle of your hobby and just enjoy your passion of the hobby that you worked to make it a business.

I collect toys, and STILL think the reaction figures are total crap. All of em. It’s just junk made to make money.
I took a batman on holiday and a TVC figure but it was only because the Postman handed it to me as I left my home. I pretty much always have a joe or corps figure or a 5 POA boba Fett. It's kind of a stim for my social anxiety but fun to pose around in the park or whatever.
Chuckles would be cool as a travel figure but his elbows are and hips notorious for breaking

I did something like this on my high school trip to Europe. I had a couple of new Transformers that showed up in the mail the day before we left and I wanted to mess around with them so I put them in my carry on and just took them across Europe.
Idk why but Beachcombin Mike Sewer Spitting figure came to my mind for a vacation figure
I've never done that, but I have gotten figures while on vacation and opened them and had them out. I do know someone, however, who covers space launches to which he always brings a Godzilla figure for personal photos.
I never bought a travel toy but I’d always buy toys when I went traveling as a kid. A few I can remember were Ninja Force Scartlet and Snake Eyes and Ripley and Apone from the Aliens line.
I always travel with a guy. Usually a Joe, a Star War or a little Transformer. Always have.

In 2021 I went to Florida for the first time ever and before I left my Dad gifted me a motu origins Merman and i totally took him with me I mean it made all the since! 😂🤘🏻such a great memory!
I’ve brought the OSTM Surfer Sting with me before. Took some cool beach pics with it last year. Got a lot of odd looks LOL.
After the video I had to grab my McFarlane Aquaman that is based on the 90s look with the hook hand and my Masterverse Merman with the bad eye and just play with them.

we went to the beach back in august, and i brought classified torpedo and dusty. i got some fun pics out of it.
We just left south Florida and Orlando this week got to ride Tron and Guardians amazing rides

I would be all over the ReAction line if not for the 20 dollar price point. If they were like 8 bucks retail, sure, I could see myself buying a ton of them. They're fun, but way too expensive.
I had a toy biz baf galactus that i used for my travel to japan and boracay (island), perfect for my "toytripping" pics.

I take travel toys with me totally I like to have a mini display in the hotel and I always buy a toy or two on holiday defo take pictures of them too 😂
As kid I remember my friend telling about the time he took one of his fav figure with him on vacation But he unfortunately it dropped out his bag in or outside hotel room the day his family left!😱 So Nope I nevet anything when I went on vacations!

Reaction figs I think are way too expensive I got a couple of transformers but they were 4 quid for Grimlock AND Starscream w/ cape so on cardback they look ok 😂
