Yep, this show was my 3rd time going as a Vendor! I'm surprised I missed you guys - I was right next to My 2D Heroes' booth (I noticed myself in the background on the left side of the screen at 18:55) so I must've been busy helping someone when you were in the area. Glad to hear you found some cool stuff and hope to see you at the July/October shows!
13:48 That's the Sun Man I saw as a kid, I had NO idea who or what he was but Toys R Us had a very large collection of them on clearance back then. I though the fact that his wings were on his neck was a little weird but in a kinda cool way? 21:37 HA! I remember those little kajiu monsters! I think we had everyone but the gray one and in slightly different colors. That Street Fighter cycle for $50 wasn't too bad, especially if it's unassembled and unused on the inside.
I love your videos; they bring a lot of joy to my life. I have been through a lot of ups and downs the past 6 years and every time I watch your show, it brings a joy to my soul and helps me get though my day or even my week. thank you.
I had that same red Sprite from Rainbow Brite. I think my parents got it so I could play with my sister. But honestly, I loved it. Wore the red paint off of the nose.
I love love love Lanards Corps figures, especially the vintage one's I believe that mould comes from Avalanche he's an Olympic champion skier and joined the corps mountain rescue unit. I love this idea that there's this dude just ski's around making sure everyone is safe with a medipack strapped to his chest... If I was lost on a mountain.. I'd want Avalanche to come rescue me haha!
I got the first Legion of Doom bca figures from eBay. Animal is autographed!!!! I also have the LoD 2000 bca variants with 🏈 helmets!!! Both TMNT Killer Bee and Needlenose are expensive CIB online!!!
G'day Dan, Congratulations on scoring a Brass Battle Cat.. When are you going to do an episode solely dedicated to your Battle Cat /Panthor variation collection ??? I'll be Keen to watch. I recently scored a Panthor which under the flocking is a green BC and I need to learn more about this variation. Cheers.
You make a silicone mould of the original Battlecat. You cast it in jewelry wax with a vacuum chamber and maybe pressure pot it - then sprue it up and incorporate a pour gate and invest the wax. Then use a burn out kiln to vaporize the wax then pour your molten Brass. Pull a vacuum while pouring the metal. Let cool shock the investment. Cut off sprue pieces and tumble with media. Use a rotary tool to clean using pastes to polish. Done - it would have been cooler if they colorized it with Chems after to achieve a green patina
I just want to think that that Jet Ski Skier figure is actually Mobius from Loki, complete with moustache. “In the early 1990s, for a brief, shining moment, there was a beautiful union of form and function, which we call the jet ski.” What's interesting about the cat is the sculpted stripes. I'd be curious if they all have the same markings, they may have been made by hand.
Big Bad Bettleborgs was my jam for morning shows. Also, that brass battle cat isn’t battle cat it’s a brass tiger roaring statue, and it’s a little older then Battle Cat and such
Great video. I never had the Hillhurst House monsters (from Beetleborgs), so its cool seeing those. But I did had the Power Rangers' Power Dome playset, so its great to see that in the wild. Also, its cool to see Ninja Turtles Next Mutation toys, as (I might be alone in this) but I thought both the show and toyline had great potential. Again, great video.
I have GPK movie on vhs but in a regular box. Never seen it in a clam shell! Would’ve grabbed it too! Also got it on dvd. Love the art on the Blu-ray box but never bought it. Always liked the King Arthur toon but never got any figures. Pretty sure my grandma had the brass tiger(wish I had kept it). And glad Stina got a score too!
Great show .living uk it great see your toy hunts with family .question i lnow bit out there but could we have a stenna haul and maybe spencer .see what they picked up even if little hauls .my wife would love that .a female insight so to speak .as it mainly male toy lines we see on most collertors videos on youtube etc .ie toy related bags .collecting is fun when you do toghter ? Take care ives family uk
26:08 I have heard that metal shrinks as it cools more than plastic does, to a noticeable degree, so most likely they did have the exact same molds and just poured brass into them.
I’ve seen those brass cats on eBay and wondered about them. I get why you picked it up. I try to stay with only officially licensed cats for my collection, but interesting.
Dude I’ve had a bigger one of the metal tigers! It’s been in my family for decades. My mother was given it by her brother in South Korea in the 80s. Ugh I just noticed mine is a different mold. 🙃
that sonic man is such a great 90s ripoff of RoboCop, with his accessories being the most common dollar store or supermarket carded kid toy weapons with the short clear light up sword and the ever ubiquitous laser zapper with all the different sounds that you cycle through. There couldn't be a more 90s figure than that haha
The Brass Tiger is a 70s Onamnte women would buy it was then used as Mold for the kids Jungle toy & Then Battle Cat my Auntie had one and it went from the shelf when i asked why she had Battle Cat
WOW those prices...im from Winnipeg Canada......if a normal TMNT is more then 5 buck Cdn you are paying to much. save for those rare. ( or if they have their weapons a few bucks more)
CORPS fig is all ZarDan. Recently got Hillhurst monsters, they have a Jawa buddy too. Have that SonicMan. 🤖 He has like 10 generic action sounds from a group of multicolored buttons on the back. Brass Cat is SWEET. Thanks Dan.
Have you been to Kane County Toy Show?
no. but i want to but mi parents will probobly not agre to go to the us to go to kane toy show
ps i love ninja force
Of course. Best place to hunt for toys and Pixel Dan in the wild.
Yep, this show was my 3rd time going as a Vendor!

Only once with you lol
Glad I could help out with a few to add to Stina's Vinylmation collection. Great running into you again. Hope to see you at Kane in the future.
I’m glad ‘Stina gets the love too. I know she does a lot for Dan and the show.
Watching you and your family share in your experience is awesome! You are truly blessed!
That Cat was part of a set as the were Book-ends offered by Furniture stores the early 70s.🤠
No no, Panthor missing the flocking is the best kind of Panthor!
13:48 That's the Sun Man I saw as a kid, I had NO idea who or what he was but Toys R Us had a very large collection of them on clearance back then. I though the fact that his wings were on his neck was a little weird but in a kinda cool way?

I've had one of those brass Cringers in my bedroom window with some houseplants for a decade or so. Found it at a flea market for five bucks!
Love the Saturdays toy hunting awseome vid 👍
It's so cute that you and Stina had similar toy tastes when younger 🥰
I had that same red Sprite from Rainbow Brite. I think my parents got it so I could play with my sister. But honestly, I loved it. Wore the red paint off of the nose.
Whaddup Pixel Dan, Sam from Toy De Jour, and Anthony from Kaiju Days!
I can still remember this Little People boat I had, played with that thing for hours ....
I love love love Lanards Corps figures, especially the vintage one's I believe that mould comes from Avalanche he's an Olympic champion skier and joined the corps mountain rescue unit. Sean Penn clown was a genuine jump scare
That GBK vhs is an amazing find.
Such a fun hunt, great finds at this toy show :)
I got the first Legion of Doom bca figures from eBay. Animal is autographed!!!! I also have the LoD 2000 bca variants with 🏈 helmets!!! Both TMNT Killer Bee and Needlenose are expensive CIB online!!!

You digging that busted up Panthor reminds me of my fiance he actually has a shelf for what he calls misfit toys and there all broken or missing stuff
There was some great Robocop knockoffs at this show. Besides all the toys , I always find great Turtles, He-Man, and wrestling merch at this show too.
I have that same Rainbow Brite Sprite! Very cool
Love seeing all the wrestling stuff!
You're not a weird type Collector, but a Unique Collector
Did you guys ever notice that you never see Pixel Dan and Spencer Powers in the same place at the same time? 🤔
..and yup the weather sucks all the time

Dayum! @ 13:00 his ledger's gotta be back in black

There's nothing better then hunting with your kids and spouse
That fallout operation caught me eye especially after the tv show
awesome
Flabber I recognised by look alone, probably thanks to a Secret Galaxy covering those series of shows.
Big Bad Bettleborgs was my jam for morning shows. Also, that brass battle cat isn’t battle cat it’s a brass tiger roaring statue, and it’s a little older then Battle Cat and such
My brothers had that Remco Ninja and they swore he was Quick Kick lol. Fantastic video! Looks like a heck of a show.
Crazy money in my opinion
Happy hunting for you too, even though you don’t know me, i feel i know you and we’re all in this together.. ❤. I love the times that we are living…

I also have the brass battle cat, found him in an antique shop.
Looks to me like Battle Cat was modeled after what was sold as a lucky tiger to tourists in the 70's.
@5:45 those animals I'm pretty sure were part of a circus train set. I had those decades ago too. Each animal had its own car in the train.
I was hoping you'd try Battle Cat's armor on that 70s statue. If it fits, maybe even paint it metallic to match?
I have GPK movie on vhs but in a regular box. Never seen it in a clam shell! Would’ve grabbed it too! Also got it on dvd. Love the art on the Blu-ray box but never bought it. The little people animals are from the circus train set

that’s deep dude
haha. maybe so!
Pixel Dan, you have to cosplay as the CORPS Jet Skier now. I'd pay to see this cosplayed🤣

Oh, man! I had that Flair/Zbyszko AWA set. Those were my first wrestling toys.
Alright! My daughter and I make an appearance in the opening second of the video.
Dude I’ve had a bigger one of the metal tigers! It’s been in my family for decades. My mother was given it by her brother in South Korea in the 80s. Ugh I just noticed mine is a different mold. 🙃
I had some figures of the main Beetleborgs
Awesome job dan drop a like
Much appreciated
No problem dan
Was this the most recent one from a couple weeks ago?

My grand parents had two ceramic versions of the big Jim cat .I thought I was the only person that noticed that there are the same.
Everytime I see the AWA Remcos I remember the Warlord line that was out at the same time. Did they use the same body molds?
Thumbs up for Toybiz Stroms!
5:00 Flabber = J Leno vibes
Man toy prices are out of control
Heading to the Spokane Wa. Toy show today 5/11/24 at their fairgrounds. 😁
Have Fun. I'm heading to one here next Month in MD at fairgrounds.
Nice to see alot of that stuff, but the prices, yikes!
The Brass Tiger is a 70s Onamnte women would buy it was then used as Mold for the kids Jungle toy & Then Battle Cat my Auntie had one and it went from the shelf when i asked why she had Battle Cat
Is that brass tiger a door stopper?
big bad beetleborgs characters lol

Pixel fan will ya ever do a toy review of king Arthur and the Knights of justice figures
I'd say you'd be more of a "Rain-beau", @PixelDanToyHunts
Did you make it to Volo Dan.
So What was the price on the sun man 😮 lol
I never see anyone covering gobots/ Machine Robo at any of these toyshows.
I always love finding GoBots stuff at shows
I saw you at kane but I didn't wanna bother you
Did you not take home giant Dan?
WOW those prices...im from Winnipeg Canada......if a normal TMNT is more then 5 buck Cdn you are paying to much. save for those rare. ( or if they have their weapons a few bucks more)
30 American for a panthor
Garbage pail kids movie is a masterpiece. It's a classic. I don't get the hate that it gets.
Dan stop looking at ninja fighter, look at the transformers stuff!
I will trade ya Cowboy Bob Ortons Hat for that GBK VHS
CORPS fig is all ZarDan. Recently got Hillhurst monsters, they have a Jawa buddy too. Have that SonicMan. 🤖 He has like 10 generic action sounds from a group of multicolored buttons on the back. Brass Cat is SWEET. Thanks Dan.
