I love DOOM. So much stuff flourishes if you trap Celebi. A core i'm into is baton pass Zapdos + DOOM + fighting type. If they go to Blissey on your Zapdos you pass to the fighter, whereas if they go Celebi you send in DOOM. DOOM can also remove Gengar for the fighting type if needed. Counterintuitively, DOOM matches up well into Cele Aero spikes if you pair it with Swampert.
Specifically, BreDoom. I've often felt forced into Swampert, otherwise the comps I was using wouldn't work. But since then I've picked up Milotic more, so maybe that'd work as well.
That would work against slower Houndoom, sure. I've preferred faster, and in that case, it becomes a 50/50. Also, Roar as a 4th move can still remove the possibility of capering away via Calm Mind boosted Baton Pass.
