Your videos are encouraging thank you. I started learning fingerpicking style as I don't know where to start then while playing I also struggled with the F chord. Any idea how to improve playing F chord. My hand is small ,the guitar I'm using has wide neck and when I press of the high E and B the high E gives muted sound. Thanks for any tip.
On the tablature of lesson 3 page 2 looking at bars 17, 19 and 21 they seem to have the middle finger on the open b string? is this a typo? I’m new to this but I thought I understood the index finger to be on the g and b strings and the middle finger on the high e? Help please!
Easier to say that the thumb takes care of the lower half of the strings, the middle finger takes care of the top string, and the index finger gets the rest. That way if you play, say, an F chord with your thumb on the D string, thumb handles D and G strings, index gets B, and middle still gets E. Simple, no rule breaking.

Do one thing and you will play the chord easily... Get the right side of your palm away from the fretboard and hold properly.. I had the same problem brother

I occasionally do :-) The 3 finger style is where I usually start with new fingerpickers, but adding the ring finger to your picking patterns is a great way to play for sure :-)

I'm having trouble playing the F cord. I keep getting a blocked out sound with my pointer finger on the two notes

why do you not use your third finger when pintching, because I use all 3 fingers and the phumb.
