    I can hear the difference now, just by doing the twist in the wrist I can hear the swish from the racket is faster (higher pitched) than not doing the wrist action suggested by Coach 👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼

    Coach Han speaks TRUTH. There is a badminton journey for every one. Not all are the same, not even for beginners. Every journey is different. You can have guidance, ask questions, start young or old, play for fun or for medal, but only if you have love for yourself and where your journey can take you can you have success FOR YOU.

      Amateurs' workouts should be for themselves and for a better tomorrow.

    Now i realised that why i dont get much power in my smashes. Its because i use too much of my shoulder and then drop the shoulder in the end and eventually my whole body and i dont use my wrist power the right way. And yes, i have to break this habit of mine by Practice Practice and Practice. Thanks for this video. I love it. ❤️

    That's why some skinny looking players can smash with such a power shot and some look muscular but could not smash well. Momentum built with swing. And the need of proper hitting on the shuttle head to press down Thanks coach!

    Thank you master... Your tutorial video very usefull... Its basic and I think many people do it in wrong way, then stuck at certain point. And start to ask them selve "why I cant improve my skill??".. because they just play, never practice the basic theory...

    저는 이렇게 치고 있습니다. 손목을 약간 비틀면서 빨래 짜듯이 타점에 맞게 면을 만들어 손목을 씁니다. 저도 초보입니다만... 이걸 가르쳐주는 사람이 별로 없더라구요. 레슨을 받고 있는중이지만요. 제 가족들도 이걸 가르쳐 주기전까지 이스턴 그립에서 약간 비틀어 잡더군요. 전 이스턴을 고집하다가 이렇게 치고 있습니다.

      많이 노력하셨나봅니다. 저게 보기엔 쉽지만 제대로 따라하는 사람이 많지 않거든요 ㅎㅎㅎ 또한 사람마다 그립과 유연성이 다를 수 있기 때문에 조금씩은 본인에 맞게 가다듬을 필요가 있습니다. 영상만 봤다고 다 할 수 있는 게 아니지요 :-)

    I have been following the videos of coach Han and they are really very good. This particular Smash basics, I put it to practice, previously I was smashing very wrong. But after I started following the instructions, I am getting my smash correctly, but then I have started having forearm pain, is it normal as I am adapting to the correct technique and eventually the pain would fade away, please advise.

      What is the right technique?
      Is this an ideal swing? Is the swing right for your body?
      Why do professional athletes with ideal movements get injured?
      It is your responsibility to know your body and take care to avoid injury. No one can do this for you. However, my recommendation is to repeat the training slowly and lightly. You can do the stronger ones later.

      Abdominal strengthening. Good for core strength and leg strength training. Basic physical training such as squats and planks are all good.

    I have watched some clips, & my problem is most cases I am not sure which method correct,& which is incorrect because I cannot read Korean, and I'm not sure about the translation in English due to the timming and the shot.       There are also limits to how we make videos. Our videos are planned, filmed, and edited by one person. There is no time.

      Разве это не индивидуально для каждого человека? Профессиональные спортсмены тренируются по 8 часов в день. Любители делают около 2-3 часов. Однако и здесь будут индивидуальные различия.

    손목사용법이 힘빼고 툭밀어치면서 자연스럽게 앞으로 꺽이는건 잘못된건가요? 영상에서 말씀하신것 처럼 안쪽으로 손목을 돌리면서 치는게 맞는건가요...ㅠㅠ초심이라 뭐가 맞는건지 모르겠네요

      둘다 맞는 말입니다. 힘빼고 툭 던지면 손목은 안쪽으로 돌면서 따라가게 돼있습니다.

    안녕하세요.
    정타를 맞추기위해 손목을 바깥쪽으로 비틀어줄때 어디에 힘을 주어야 잘비틀어질까요? 억지로 비틀면서 맞추려고하다보니 힘전달이 잘안됩니다ㅜㅜ

      그건 팔을 비틀거나 꼬는 게 아닙니다. 지면으로 부터 올린 반력을 팔을 통해 뻗어내는 겁니다. 꼬는 게 아니라 풀리는 과정에서 맞는 겁니다. 영상 몇개 링크 걸어드릴테니 참고하셔요🙂

      Any racquet is fine as long as it is not too heavy. Children find good posture while playing happily. Whether it's a heavy racket or a light racket, there's a posture to suit it. It's difficult for adults, but children will quickly find a good way on their own. do not worry.

    My shoulder hurts after smash, I am a club player, and I would love to hear what to do to avoid shoulder pain.

      Whether your pain is tolerable or whether you need to take a break from exercising. That's for you to judge. However, most of the shoulder pain is due to the high angle. Watch this video and think.
      Stretching before exercise is essential. Stretching after exercise is essential!

    저는 여태껏 당기라는게 손목을 꺾으면서 꽉 잡으라는건쥴 알았는데... 잘못하고 있었네요...ㅜㅜ 너무 어렵다

      뒤로 누워있는 라켓헤드를 앞으로 당겨오는 겁니다. 손목보다는 손가락힘으로 하는 게 좋고요, 손목은 강제로 꺾지 않아도 힘을 빼면 조금은 꺾입니다. 오히려 버티면 아프지요 ㅎㅎ
      상급자가되면 빠른 스윙을 위해 팔로우 스루를 줄입니다. 이 정도 돼야 악력으로 라켓에 브레이크를 거는 거죠. 그 전까지 우리는 힘빼고 풀스윙~ (풀파워 아닙니다)
