Your little man is sooo handsome😍 I love how he peeks from behind the couch throughout the video! Looking forward to watching your loc journey. I’ve currently had micro locs for a little over a year and I’m loving every minute😊 Never knew I would be so happy to say: “Bye bye ✋🏾 comb and brush”

I got my locs about a week ago at this point and I love them so much! Quitting wigs and weaves was tough but I’ve had a huge boost in my confidence because I feel so much better about myself and what my future hair journey holds!

I just started my own journey on St. Patty’s Day, and your last set was part of my inspiration. I’m definitely interested in seeing how these microlocs grow and mature. They’re very cute, and I, too, think the “bangs” are a vibe.

Wow! The growth of 6 months is definitely noticeable. Love your updates because your journey is a road map for what to expect. I'm 3.5 months into my journey. I'm getting those little balls at the ends of some of my locs too. I try to ignore them but some of them are barely hanging on. Trusting the process.

Your locs have grown and flourished so much in the last 6 months!
I've been watching your videos since you got your new locs and I can't believe how long they are already.
I started my locs with hair much longer and I've been loced for over a year and they are just a bit longer than yours. I have such loc envy.
    Love your vibe and videos!

Hi, I am on my journey, but I'm still in my protective hair style journey, because my hair is only about 3inch. I'm looking for a professional loc stylist in my area, but the pandemic has made it a little difficult, because most aren't in the shop or aren't taking new clients. I am ready to start my small traditional loc journey, because my hair is thin and fine, so don't want a lot of tension or weight on my scalp as it grows out. Enjoy watching. Also, I'm over 50 and have been ready for a while. I've been natural, except hair color for over 15 yrs. Thanks for all of the valuable information you've shared.

I've followed you since your first set of locs. I've also restarted my locs on 2/18/21. I made my locs a little bigger this time around but they're still small, probably the size of your last set; I'm maintaining them by interlocking.

Gurl yess! I’ve been watching you since your last set, I remembered when Mama cut your locs down. I luv watching Mama reestablishing your second set of locs on shot hair. Ur Mama got some real patience. Your Mama looks simply Fabulous!! Congratulations on your six months locs- looking nice. I’ve redid my Micro locs 3 different times losing a lot of hair because my micro locs looked extra skinny like they were going to break. I just official made 2months on my DIY micro locs journey on 3/25/2020. I’ve abt 2-4 inches all around! Yess I’m here for my growth - I do the 4 point rotation as well!

My microloc journey began in November 2020, so it's a couple of months behind yours. Watching your videos provide an idea what to expect.
Your honesty and positivity are helping me to embrace and enjoy these early stages
Locs at my nape are definitely forming faster and are more rounded than the ones elsewhere.
Didn't notice the status of the background plant. Clearly the time has been spent nurturing your son. His stealth cameo appearances are fun.

I don't know if it's in Canada but Lotta body foam is a loc friendly setting lotion. Alikay naturals used sell scented hair mist. Not sure if they still do. But also herbivore sells hair perfumes with essential oils as well.

My roots are puffy on some of my locs around the perimeterlike they are unraveling. do you suggest I just take them down and retwist those or interlock themat roots . I'm thinking about taking them down and redoing them. when should you do your first retie?

      Is it difficult to apply?

    • @Brownmahfun
      @Brownmahfun 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@JOSETTEBIANCA Absolutely NOT. There are different ways and you can use any way you want. What I would do is: buy powdered AMLA and let it sit in hot (not boiling) water for an hour, strain into a spray bottle, add essential oils and spray every one or two weeks or how ever my hair can stand it. It will be like a light protein with nutrients that will keep it black and will make your hair strong also. If your hair get a lil hard that is good and don't worry. It will dissipate like henna. It will NOT darken gray or white hair.
