    my mom used to own a bakery here its was called "kringles" if anyone remembers that it was years ago. it was a Christmas themed bakery we also had a big chair that Santa would sit on to take pictures with him. So that was a fun time i guess

    Me, my wife, and two of my sisters were in Frankenmuth June 30th to July 3rd this year. We want to go back in the near future. One of my main reasons for going to Frankenmuth was to visit Bavarian Blacksmith Experience where I forged for the first time a railspike knife. BBE was founded by a Forged in Fire champion; if you've ever seen the show. His name is Josh A. Weston. Of course, we visited a lot of the shops. We stayed at Drury Inn and Suites. About two days after returing home from Frankenmuth, I started feeling homesick for Frankenmuth. That might seem silly to some though. Thank you for your video.

    Not sure if you guys will see this, but they are opening a new water park this year, it will be Michigan's largest indoor water park and one of the largest indoor water parks in the United States. Might be a fun trip for you and the kids. It's at the Bavarian in.

    My family and I go to Frankenmuth every year, the day after Thanksgiving. It’s busy but we love it. When I was stationed in Washington state, I discovered the town of Leavenworth which is also very good.

    • @NeverStopAdventuring
      @NeverStopAdventuring  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That sounds like a great tradition! We've actually been to Leavenworth as well! It was way back before kids though. How do you think the two compare?

      @@NeverStopAdventuring Same here with Leavenworth, I went probably 15 years ago, but my memory was that there was more to do at Leavenworth. How about you? How do you think they compare? I’m curious to know what others think.

      @@jimmiller82 I'd say the town of Frankenmuth is better. It's bigger, with more to do. Leavenworth has better scenery. The Cascades are pretty spectacular!

    Thanks for your video, Frankenmuth is a nice theme park, I’m hoping to visit this typically American endeavor. I laughed because there is a family of fierce warriors in Bavaria, we are different in the way we are and how we grow up, you saw the scary fairy tale figures, some of these fairy tales are just scary children from our family love them, just like the Nørsk (Viking) are friendly these days, so are we, NOW would you like me to shøw you some AUTHENTIC Bavarian “hospitality”😆 Loved your video.

    Love Frankenmuth!! My mom, myself, and my daughter go here 4 times a year if not more for overnight girl trips. We shop, eat (carry out is the way we go, much cheaper then the all you can eat family style that's now up to $39.99 each), then play cards or board games at night in the hotel. It's also a very dog friendly town. Wouldn't give it or the memories made up for anything! PS...traditional pasties are better with gravy, lol. Thanks for the content, found you cause we are headed on a girls trip to the UP to visit friends in August and I was looking for things I haven't done yet. I love your stuff and subbed.
