About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first TH-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!
Skin cancer from sitting in the sun is not a myth. My ex who is a pretty dark Jamaican didn't listen about skin cancer and had to have a large section of his face and a few spots on his shoulders removed. Oh and Bob Marley died of skin cancer as well. Just because you don't see the damage now doesn't mean there is none. Of course sitting in the sun feels good, but so does sitting in the sun with sunscreen....
This. Yes. It is the most common cancer, and high melanin content does not mean your immune.
Yep as someone who lives in NZ skin cancer is a real fear.
I like 15 mins of direct sunlight is considered ok but if you're planning to spending large amounts of time in the sun then UV protection is a must.

I wonder what podcast he listened to. Because he mentioned listening to controversial people before. He also previously advocated for keto diet. So when it comes to health advice, Mikey is NOT the right person to give it. I like him, but I hope people don't listen to him when it comes to health.

My sister is a sun worshiper she loves the sun she will sit out for hours but you can get skin cancerous do have to be carefully I like the sun too but don't like sitting out to long I do like having a tan. Hi Mikey, Like you I love the sun and I am very fair skin guy, last year one week before Christmas I had to have two skin cancers removed but I am ok now, love your friends and great to have your aunt back as well

I live for the tours of your property, updates on all the critters and plants but it was truly extra joyful watching you catch up with your long time friends. Loved the tunes, loved you a little buzzed, it was just a fun episode. That said...I'm gonna get serious here for a moment. As a pretty dark Puerto Rican who has had skin cancer removed successfully twice...take the UV protection seriously. I still enjoy my time in the sun, but I definitely no longer rely solely on my melanin to protect me. Be careful my friend...always better safe than sorry. 💜🖤

It's good to have fruit trees in your property mikey. Definitely plant that jackfruit! You can feed fruits to your chickens too. Trust me, you'll save a lot and those eggs would really have that orangey, thick yolks!

11:39 I'm pretty sure that's wild cucumber, probably _Melothria pendula._ The tiny green cucumbers that we used to eat as kids (just don't eat the black ones). Introduced from Mexico. I don't think they last long.

You can buy fresh jack fruit as a whole fruit in the Greater Toronto Area, and cut it open when ripened. They are commonly available in Chinese supermarkets here.
I was asking myself where are Eve's eggs because her tummy is not that big anymore.

Just looking up Lion's Mane - apparently it is protected in the UK and it is illegal to pick it in the wild - so it obviously grows here - so the Philippines may be a little too warm to grow it there. It also acts as a blood thinner so if your Tita takes anticoagulants then it may be worth discussing it with a medical doctor. I imagine that, as it thins the blood, it might be good to take before a long haul flight to help reduce the risk of dvt. Ooh, it is reputed to relieve anxiety and depression too. Take it in the morning to brighten your day and sharpen your mind. Sounds worth a try. Thanks Mikey xx
EDIT: I can buy it to grow here in the UK - Optimum fruiting room conditions: 16-21 °C @ 85-95% RH, frequent airflow - maybe you could grow it in a climate controlled set up? Or, in a room where you can set the ac at the right level (I had forgotten about the ac) Will stop rambling now!
EDIT 2: sorry more - was looking up ashwagandha supplement - many sites suggest that should be taken for 6-8 weeks and then do monthly break - I expect you already know this but just in case...
EDIT 3: Re the sun: I'd recommend that you still protect your skin, your body will still make vitamin D and you can enjoy the light and warmth, whilst lowering the risk of skin cancer and 'sun spots' or dark patches on your skin that generally show up as you age.
Also, loved seeing your garden and hearing how it grows. Will stop editing my comments now, I promise. Thanks for another wonderful slice of your world.

Mikey, don't stay too much under the sun. I think 20 - 30 minutes exposure is good for your skin type.
Normally early morning or late afternoon when it's not too hot is the best unless it's very shady or lots of trees around.
You know, as we always hear - Prevention is better than cure.

It’s best to trim down the tall trees a few meters away from your chalet, their leaves are all dried which becomes a fire hazard every summer, to prevent forest fire. Or you can hose with water other neighboring trees. You can learn from the vlog of fin snow, a popular vlogger like you, whose beautiful house is nearing completion when a fire broke out a few meters from their property. Good thing all his workers were alerted and worked promptly to put out the fire. It was a wake up call for them to put up a powerful pump to draw water from their swimming pool when the need arises. Unsolicited advice, I know, hehehe.

I am just like you. Naturally light brown skin, and i love sitting in the sun for hours and days, and I get super dark really fast and rarely burn. I too feel amazing afterwards, lots of energy and alertness. I like to combine sunbathing with a swim in the ocean, that is an amazing combo. 😍

Mickey, in the States we have seen plants growing in the crotches (forks) of trees will eventually kill the Limb and even the tree. Decay sets in the area of the plant. Maybe your type trees are different (?)

😂 It’s not that you have wrinkles.. sunblock is to prevent skin cancer from the radiation from the sun and prevents wrinkles when you get older. So you should be wearing sunblock everyday. Even on cloudy days. Use the Korean sun block sticks with SPF 50 PA+++++ ☺️ Love those! No white cast!

their poo is also useful for charcoal if they're getting enough grasses... not quite on par with like what rhinos or elephants put out, but its way easier to have a cow on your land.

Sitting out in the sun is so refreshing during spring and summer I'm outside all the time I even camp outside during the nights but I totally understand what you say how Sitting in the sun is so energizing and refreshing luckily I'm native American and Italian so I have a natural tan year around 😅

Those plant is Creeping Cucumber: Melothria Pendula or pepenong gubat it's edible fruit very small taste like cucumber😊 I can't wait to have fruit and you taste it😂
