Singapore boing!!! Those are the words of a man who does not know how to have fun and find it!!!! The ocean has lots of adventure, nature and old war stuff. So much more.
I absolutely loved Singapore and the food was amazing, like Liz said the streets get filled with these cooks and food stands. Awesome food. Make sure you can handle all the food.
10:10 Andy's joy watching Elizabeth panicking. 😂 I was also thinkin about the ground nuts the whole time and kinda wishing she forgets and burn it. It's hilarious how we cooks/chefs are a little bit evil when it comes to watching other cooks fail. Especially when we know it's a not a beginner failing. Like when Ramsay failed in: - making sea water reduction Greek salsa verde with capers and poisoning Yaya in the words of Gino d'Acampo - losing against James 'Captain Slow' May in making fish pie I was so filled with joy. 😂😂😂 It's beautiful harmless schadenfreude. Great collab though.
Your 100th episode special of Andy Cooks visiting Mei Mei and Auntie Liz is truly a milestone worth celebrating. Your dedication to sharing such meaningful culinary experiences and connecting with loved ones reflects a deep appreciation for both food and family. And I am Floating Village Life.
Liz! Yes Chef! great video and brilliant to see Andy Cooks and Katelyn with you. Can't wait for the video when you go to see them in their place. As if you in Singapore your more than halfway there! ❤ to you all
It's impressive that Uncle Roger has cast such a huge shadow over the culinary world the title Uncle and Auntie are more coveted than Chef and Michelin stars.
Some version of spicy peanut sauce is always in my fridge because it keeps so well and is so versatile. I regularly use it in (not) gado gado, on hard boiled eggs and as a topper/dip for leftovers
Tip: To prevent the sticks from burning, soak them in water at least 1 hour beforehand. That way, they won't burn and also a way to wash out residues from the sticks.
200K subs is just a start. Well done, Auntie Liz. I'm a boiled egg. I swear I was Chinese or Japanese in a previous life. Most likely I was a Singaporean or Malaysian Chinese. Use goat mutton, not sheep mutton. Very haram, but pork satay is paling sedap dan enak2 when paired with a sweeter sauce.
Just watching the video i can imagine how delicious that must be... I think my first reaction would have been an expletive and somewhat more than yummy!
I see a bunch of Borough Market vids with people eating bomba paella, humble crumble, and chocolate strawberries. In so many of those vids they walk right past Mei Mei, and I always shake my head and say “That Nasi Lemak is fire, but enjoy your Instagram food”.
Andy, fully agree with you, I've always said for the past 30 years, Singapore was always a great place to do a stopover, but more than 1 week it is , well let's face it, boring, But I always stayed in Hotel 81 , Gaylang, simply because of the street foods in that area, nothing else if you get my drift.
I have heard that malaysians are very protective of their cuisine and don't like it when foreigners make their food the un authentic way. Maybe thats why Uncle Roger is the way he is
Peanut allergy guy - So weak. So weak. 🤣
Comment so basic, so basic: Mitch was able to escape CONVICT island!
😂😂😂
Hahahaha
I even read this with Uncle Roger's voice 🤣
Haiya
The collab nobody asked for but we all needed
Uncle Roger asked
Auntie Liz and Uncle Andy. That was quite informative about how Chef Liz and Chef Andy got started on TH-cam
Glad you enjoyed it
insane collab ngl
Ty
You can tell the level of mutual respect for the profession and the professional
I was there Wednesday. the char siu blew my mind. And the calamansi drink was perfect for the hot weather
Thank you this has made my day! X
Now we need Uncle Roger with Andy Cooks and Untie Liz together.
Andy was with Uncle Roger in LA. Might be harder to get all three in the same continent.
Only possible way is if both Andy and Uncle Roger visit the UK at the same time
@@littlewishy6432 or Andy and auntie Liz come to LA, which is more in the middle of UK and AUS
Uncle Andy, Aunty Elizabeth and Uncle Gordon can join Uncle Roger in LA.
@@ndrewlee Maybe also bring in Uncle Joshua, Uncle Nick & Uncle Guga. Then they can have a competition to become Sensei!
Great to see Andy and Babe here. And Aunt Liz.
I’m Italian and I think Andy is the best chef in the world as an “all rounder”. I’m also 4th generation Italian restaurant cook recently retired.
Wow.. yeah he is great and she is too...
Bet I will love to see you cook😊
I agree
Singapore boing!!! Those are the words of a man who does not know how to have fun and find it!!!! The ocean has lots of adventure, nature and old war stuff. So much more.

I absolutely loved Singapore and the food was amazing, like Liz said the streets get filled with these cooks and food stands. Awesome food. Make sure you can handle all the food.

Nice collab. Happy 100th episode. You're a rockstar to have pulled off cooking for 100 on that little stove. Thank you, Chef.
I think Andy can make any cultural dishes look appetising.

Uncle Roger is the common person's Michelin star
I love this interview format!
I loved this, you are a natural Auntie Liz ❤
Thank you so much 🤗
Aunty Liz: Been dying to cook this one
Peanut Allergy guy:
100th episode! Fuiyoh Auntie Liz!!!!!
Some version of spicy peanut sauce is always in my fridge because it keeps so well and is so versatile. I regularly use it in (not) gado gado, on hard boiled eggs and as a topper/dip for leftovers
Well done Liz ! Your satay is so authentic !
Watched this episode with Andy and was enchanted. Liz, you are talented and adorable. Subscribed!

this video was just so much fun to watch. the perfect thing to wake up to on a lazy sunday morning.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Already did that!

Now that’s what I call a Kitchen! But in which drawer do I find a butcher knife? WOW!
Auntie Liz so beautiful, talented and without a peanut allergy!!! I´d really love to go to london one day and try her food, greetings from Mexico!
What if I come to Mexico?🇲🇽
Aunty Liz and uncle Andy good good.
Literally my two favourite chefs!
Just watching the video i can imagine how delicious that must be... I think my first reaction would have been an expletive and somewhat more than yummy!
I have to make it to London just to go to her resto! ❤
Congrats on 200k subscribers
Thank you!!
Oh bloody heck ❤
Pure class.
I see a bunch of Borough Market vids with people eating bomba paella, humble crumble, and chocolate strawberries. In so many of those vids they walk right past Mei Mei, and I always shake my head and say “That Nasi Lemak is fire, but enjoy your Instagram food”.
Haha true that
Those looked great! Thanks for the video Auntie Liz
Thanks for watching!
Love Andy❤
Great vid. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
I am in love 😅
Congrats on the 100th episode and enjoy your trip, hope it's not too boring in Singapore 😄
So nervous cooking for Andy? Your satay sauce looked epic! Love that you use thighs too. So much more flavourful. Great collab 😁😋
Amazing video! Love the quality
Thanks so much!
Amazing collab 🎉great video
I wish this episode was twice as long😊
Soak the sticks in water for about 30 minutes to keep them from burning, not sure how hot that little thing is but it works great for my skewers.
These were soaked!!
Just great.
First time commenting.....awesome content as always...tapping in from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹. Cheers 🍻
@@CookingwithStephennJacklyn boom! Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the content.
Fuiyohhhhh 🎉
Just thinking of all the street cooks in Malaysia cooking satay in massive batches w/o a thermometer 🙌🏼
Indeed, they are working hard 🙏🏻
A thousand times more complex and exciting a chicken satay than what you’d find at a standard Thai restaurant
two of my youtube crushes in the same video
THIS IS MY FAVORITE FOOD!!!!!!
Babe has such a great job
Wonderful 😍
Good to see a local sunny coast chef! Will you come to Australia? Andy can cook a massive steak! Why is Mutton more expensive than Lamb?
Good thing "peanut allergy guy" wasn't there......
Straight up distraction and definitely burning them nuts 😂😂😂😂
I could totally see the aussies liking everything not American about American bbq...
Love the video! ❤
So glad!
uncle roger was right gotta train people to be spice food lover, nice one andy
Lovely 👍🤙
Roasting nuts brings me back so many good old memories and I was definitely one of those chefs would burn them 😂😂
The BEST Collab ever!!! Thanks to all of you. 🎉
Chef andy seems like a nice guy
"Yer Nuts Chef!" , how many ways to take that one.....
The burnout is real. I love cooking but it gets really wild.

Noticed the colour grade on the video. Very nice grading!

Fantastic
Thank you! Cheers!
Ah i guess you'll be coming back to celebrate national day!
Auntie Liz is Amazing, Uncle Roger is Opening a Restaurant, Auntie Esther is doing Heater Eaters, Andy's from AUST, G'DAY MATE!
kinda podcast with cooking, very interesting
Glad you enjoyed it!
What time did you film this? I've never seen Borough Market that empty!
Anyone who complains that using modern equipment isn't traditional should realize that your great-great grandmother would kill for a blender.
this episode was just so natural that I forgive you for the Rogan Josh !
Andy has earned my contempt. Saying BBQ sides suck? He can take off, eh.
You need to go to some of the Turkish restaurants in dalston
From 'No reservations' to TH-camr chefs. RIP Bourdain
Hes a legend.
I believe were Bourdain still with us, he might be producing TH-cam. Wow, I’m all choked up about how much I miss him. 😿
I have heard that malaysians are very protective of their cuisine and don't like it when foreigners make their food the un authentic way. Maybe thats why Uncle Roger is the way he is
That I his entire point.
