Thank you. And i like that you use or try to use all the different jewelry and skills it adds alot of variety. And i really like the idea of this particular amulet even if it's not the strongest amulet
Great showcase, as always!! I like to think of builds mathematically, and I have my own system for calculating the opportunity cost of using an item (or rather, I have mathematical “power levels” for each trinket, based on what other stat increases they compete with). These specific burden rings are always a mess to calculate because I treat burdens as either something I have to make up for or ignore, but Gift of the Unbound is actually such a huge change to them. They’re so mathematically better than other options, almost an entire amulet slot worth of bonuses each, and the movement speed bonus on the amulet itself is always nice. Thanks for giving the amulet a fair shake - and definitely try out hybrid Archon classes with ammo mods! HU-AR and GS-AR goes nuts with some of those mods with how aggressively they scale their additive damage boosts.
I really like seeing this sort of build and the idea of using these rings and amulet. As I was watching along I felt like I was seeing a lot of issues with merciless in terms of the mod being a bit "too hitscan", which is what I experience all the time with it, I go to land a big hit from the mod with all the crit bonuses and it just whiffs. It seems entirely dependent on whether the reticle is "red" so even if the crosshair is lined up on the target, it seems to miss if it is white, which really throws me off when I am trying to get into a rhythm. I am just glad it isn't just me that seems to experience that aspect of the weapon, I like it a lot but it gets weird sometimes.
Got this on my hardcore run - honestly a really nice setup that gives a wide variety of really strong buffs like you mentioned. Was a huge help early on considering how many Burden rings are available at Cass, and via the Forlorn Coast storyline if you know what to do. The movespeed is really nice too, very under-rated utility imo that lets gun builds dodge a lot of stuff just by moving, thus saving a ton of stamina.
Thank you.
