It's a neat, clean S model, that one.. hardtails are often underrated... especially on strats.. But im looking at buying a hardtail S at the moment... (different to this tho). I love my floyds...and Edge 2's...and Gotoh 510's...but hardtails always punch outside of theirweight class! The sustain, the resonance...the full note bloom, that snap for heavy riffing...the even double stops...the easydrop D /other tunings... The nice firm spot to palm mute.. There are some fantastic reasons to hardtail. Probably the most versatile instrument, an HSS S type guitar... with HT..
I really like this guitar and am trying to talk myself outta getting it but you just made that harder. lol.. I think you just sold me on it... Great Video!!!
Look into Herman Lee's signature models. He had one in natural and gold like you described a few years back... say, about 5 years. You could probably find some second hand ones...
Do you think due to this guitars light weight and how thin it is, that there would ever be problems with sustain or anything? I feel like I've often heard heavier guitars can have more sustain or whatever. Just wanted to know your opinion on that and your opinion on this guitar overall.
Hi, I just did a test with the Ibanez SEW 761, an ESP LTD Explorer and a Single Cut (both mahogany and much heavier). At 115 bpm there was an almost identical sustain over 6 bars, so no deviations worth mentioning.
I've tried this guitar in a store, absolutely loved the tone and ergos, but thought that it would have qute a severe neck dive, how do you keep it upright?
Hi, I have about 20 guitars, including SG and Explorer, that have headdives. The Ibanez hangs perfectly balanced on the body without any head diving. Greetings Oliver
@@diddymies ... oh, I love the HB guitar strap ;) Good material and is very comfortable on the body ;) On the other hand, I have "branded straps" made of real leather ........ and...... they squeak ;)
That Ibanez is mesmerizing!🤩

Nice ass guitar nd demo.
🤘💀✌️
Thank You ;)
Nice work! I’m a little bothered by the lead not being tucked above the back strap and strap button. Beautiful work otherwise. 😀
" I’m a little bothered by the lead not being tucked above the back strap and strap button" ------------> Good point ;) ; Greetz Oliver
hi, this guitar or schecter c 6 pro? which is your favorite and why, i think to buy one of them.
The Schecter got more Power, so for thrash metal, i would prefer the Schecter, for Rock like Van Halen and 80th Rock the Ibanez,

Get a high quality strap. Or Atleast a grippy one, like leather.
