  • Watch as George explains why Tsunami2 Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) is a must have for your locomotives. DDE automatically adjusts the volume and engine RPM schedule in reaction to how the locomotive is being used. Engine RPM increases as demand on the motor increases, and it reduces as the demand is lifted. Get the most realistic sounds and features for your railroad with Tsunami2 Digital Sound Decoders

      Thank you! There is so much that we can do with these, it is exciting! Take a look at many of our other videos to see many more of the features described.

    What I like is the autogenerated subtitles interpret the steam engines as laughter, and the diesels as applause. Fair enough!

    I like the idea about doing weekly videos. Many people do not know anything about tsunami2 or dynamic digital exhaust.

      Agreed! This would be great to see. I'm curious if DDE consisting is feasible.

    Starting at 5:36 to 6:20 the CN motor is making a clicking sound from the decoder? That doesn’t sound normal!
    Decoder problem??

    • @SoundtraxxDCC
      @SoundtraxxDCC  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No not a decoder problem. Its the clickety-clack sound effect. If you don't like it you can turn the volume off with CV 153.

    I have DDE working and I like the RPM increasing but don't want the volume to increase... any way to make that happen?

    • @SoundtraxxDCC
      @SoundtraxxDCC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can adjust CV 2.507 and 2.508 which control the DDE volume adjustments. If you set them to 0, the volume level will not change. Refer to page 53 of the Tsunami2 Diesel User’s Guide for more info: soundtraxx.com/manuals/tsunami2-digital-sound-decoder

    Nice sound systems but outrageous prices to buy limited locomotives. Your pricing people out of the hobby who will never be able to afford such nice units.

    • @SoundtraxxDCC
      @SoundtraxxDCC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am sorry you feel this way. Our prices are pretty competitive with other sound decoder brands. I'm not sure what you mean by limited locomotives. We have tons of engine recordings and tools for the user to tweak them to fit even more models. We do offer a cheaper line of decoders the Econami. These decoders have the same great quality, but a smaller sound and feature library. Learn more: soundtraxx.com/products/econami-digital-sound-decoders

      @@SoundtraxxDCC You and other manufacturers limit the numbers of product production to keep the price up.

      @SoundtraxxDCC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@backtosleep We cannot speak for other manufacturers, but that is simply something we do not do. We have been working very hard to keep product on the shelf with current supply chain issues. And even when there are not supply chain issues we are continually working to increase production and efficiency. We are not trying to rip anyone off. We are here to make the hobby more fun and we work very hard to do so.
