Honestly even when the shark was biting him he didn’t really do much , it was when the shark tore off the leg completely when he was screaming in pain

Damn scaly Pete has crazy pain tolerance when the shark was biting his leg he doesn't even do much only reacting when the shark bites off is leg but the craziest thing when he got blow up he doesn't realize that half of is face part of his arm got burn instead he calls out for his son only got frustrated when he realize that his son got killed

I guess adrenaline was pumping hard enough that it dulled out the more intense pain. I bet a few minutes of drifting on his piece of debris and he'd be shouting in agony once the adrenaline stopped pumping.
