For some reason,i dont know why its so satisfying watching you vlog embracing filipino food and culture, love it
Cebu. A true balance of city and paradise. Hopefully it will still be a place where everybody is happy, everybody shares everything and everybody sings every day. Such a sweet place and such a sweet people. Yearning does not every come close. My mentor [USMC] told me tales of Cebu. I have yet to find anything that casts the slightest doubt. Cebu rocks.
That 'Kimbap' is like Korean 'sushi'. 'KIM' meaning seaweed and 'BAP' meaning rice & that yellow piece in the middle is a pickled radish! Happy Travels! :)
amazing video enjoy your stay in the philippines.
I fell in love with your vlogs 🙌❤
now I'm craving for Lechon Cebu🤩
Backyard roasted lechon in Cebu is heavenly good.
you're supposed to dip those oysters with the usual Cebuano dips, which is calamansi, chili pepper, vinegar, and soy sauce and then you'll see the difference.
Honestly the “cheese” sauce was so sweet we couldn’t handle it! Without the cheese it would have been great dipped in vinegar or calamari and soy!
Hi welcome to cebu❤ guys thank you fo sharing your vlg video all amazing❤❤
for shelby nothing food is waste she mke sure that all will consumption and I relate to that cause im doing it also, sipping bobba pearls unto the last piece😊😊😊
You’re not. You can dip it in whatever condiment you prefer. Most people just prefer spicy vinegar. Geesh.
I'm binge watching again all your Philippine vlogs and looking what did I miss haha. You guys are amazzzing! Welcome back to our country 💙
@Chase and Shelbs....Sugbo is the local name for the Anglicized form of Cebu. Locals call their city and province, Sugbo, when they talk among themselves. They only use Cebu when talking to visitors or foreign visitors.
I think Sugbo is the ancient name of Cebu before it was Christianized. It’s Sugbo or Zubo and yes, only with fellow Sugbuanons and the old folks usually call the city Sugbo.
@@El_.5794 Yes, not that ancient but still being used today especially by people from rural areas and from outside Cebu. In fact, the name 'Sukbo' appears on Chinese history books on accounts that chronicled Chinese traders with Cebu before Spanish arrived. Yes, Chinese, as you already know, they pronounce 'g' as 'k'.

Hey guys, good to see you back in the Philippines. We were just there a year ago, went to that Cebu Night market too in IT park. You guys were right about getting excellent drone shots in Palawan. We absolutely had a blast there,.Watching this makes me crave on the food there. Man, Philippines is Vlog heaven , since I do some as a hobby and I'll do more after I retire in Cebu. Have fun!
We went there last year and we had a good time.
It’s a great place to hangout and eat ☺️
"Meat" and "mouth"... hahaha you're cheeky Shelbs ! 😆 So many food choices there! Glad you guys were able to enjoy some. ❤
Hahaha I can be 🤭 there was a ton! It’s such a great market. We loved it 😍
Enjoy more delicious foods spent less, welcome to the Philippines.
Try visit Ilocos Norte many tourist spot are there culture and foods are interesting.
Have you been to SM seaside Cebu?
In Portugal the name is leitão
Here's another dish with oysters that was invented in New Orleans charbroil oysters they are cooked with a compound butter with cajun spices when you go into the famous oyster houses you can see the flames from the broilers cooking the oysters man they are so good Dragos and Acme oyster house are really good.
I prefer the scallop than the oyster 🦪 It’s best paired when it’s buttered and baked. Try it with a little bit of chili 🌶️
Shelby is so beautiful sweet and kind 😍 so positive and I love how you guys do your review. Just real time and explanations of taste I feel like I’m testing it too.
Great Video!!
I just came back from Cebu, sadly wasn't able to sugbo mercado. Hopefully next time!

lechon in the phillipines is a precious gem. hehe! more videovlogs guys. you must add on your list to visit a beautiful place in tacloban area called Siargao Islands and Calaguas Island in the Camarines Sur in southern part of Luzon area.
It sure is! So much flavour and crispness. We want some right now!! 😂 thank you so much. Siargao might just be in our future ;)
@@ChaseandShelbs if you want more lechon. go to Carcar area in Cebu. so many lechons in that area and if you find "Lechon paksiw" just try it. for me its very addicting dish specially partnering with Rice. hahahaha!
Kimbap is Korean sushi more like a California roll. Radish egg carrots and rice

Oh this was more than a month ago because it's not even valentine's....
If you buy a caramel mocha macchiato from Starbucks, it would cost the same price as a plane ticket from Toronto to the Philippines😂😂😂

Oh no! Filipino Oyster Mornay? Forget it! The cheese in the Phils is crap! 🤣
It issss sadly! Where the real cheese at!? 😭

If there is one thing in this world I can't stand...it's oysters. Idk but the taste is nasty to me. I've gave it a try 3 times but I just don't like them at all.
I like them (Shelby) chase not so much haha!
