Blue Blood is the best show on TV. I have watched it from day 1 with my husband, a retired NYPD, 43rd PCT. in the Bronx. He passed 10 years ago, but I still watch all the shows, and ION reruns. Thank you for a wonderful cast to do this show. Keep up the good work you are all doing.
I stream BB on Paramount+. I have seen EVERY episode at least 4 times. When I get to an end-of-season episode, I watch it. Then the next day I start over again with episode 1/ season 1.
Blue bloods….greatest sitcom ever….wholesome, honesty, integrity of a family highlighted that is not common today in most shows or in real life. Sad they are going off the air….will still watch reruns a 100 times…👍
Pretty sure that this season, season 13 (December 9,.2022) will be the last season. Tom Selleck is having some leg/knee/hip/eyes issues. And, all three of the teens are off to college. I REALLY feel that season 13, now, will be the very last season.
It is an honest and just show. It shows good cops as well as corrupt ones. It shows them having compassion for the underdog. Shows strong family ethics, they stick together no matter how much they disagree.

I enjoy Blue Bloods, I especially like to watch them pray to God before each family meal, both are important, especially in the world of today. Prayer and family are the two most important things in the world.
The show has terrific writers that understand the NYC scene and the police and ethnic dynamics that make up NYC. On top of that, the actors are all first rate.
Blue Bloods reminds me of Hill Street Blues , it doesn't have gun battles in every episode like some do , it reflects on how it effects the people who are closest the families and friend , and the police who have to do this day in and day out and how it effects them too. Long may it Run
I love this show and while I'm not as young as the demographic might be talking about, but I'm not exactly old. But while the Spirit doesn't age, nobody ever feels on the inside what they are on the outside. When my grandparents were still alive, they are the ones who got me into watching this show and I never miss an episode. Tom Selleck and his calm demeanor is classic. It revolves around family, a family who will protect the others regardless of view points. It shows that loving God & going to church is a good thing to do as well as dealing with real world problems. It stands for all that's good plain and simple and it's popular for that reason. It's not just smut & the good about the show is what draws people in & keeps them. I'll be heartbroken when it ends.

I am a late starter on this show. I just stumbled upon this because it is harder and harder to find wholesome shows. I this show portrays Catholics fairly well - some understand and keep course and some who do not understand the church- altogether lose their faith, but that's beside the point. This show is a package- with the family, the police drama - the prayer before meals- and it deals with current issues in a very realistic outlook. I'm on season 3!!

I like the show, I think it brings a pretty good balanced perspective to the issues the show portrays. I think the old adage rests true, you can please most of the people most of the time, you can please some of the people all of time, but you're never gonna please everybody all of the time. It's a good show, well worth watching in my opinion.
I think The Blue Bloods is true to Real Life, which is good if you want to follow what is REAL in real Life! I never miss an Episode! I do not always think Frank is correct, but he is true to his job and his TV family, for sure!

Anytime there is a show where the police is accused of bad behavior by anyone black, the black person always come out in a bad light at the end. And why did they have to give that black female officer such a public and humiliating send off. Naming her a thief in front of the whole precinct. I’ve never seen anyone else treated that way on the show. I’ll never forget or forgive that episode.
Their Sunday dinner is not notorious, do you not know what that word means, if anything I think it's a happy place to be, with both of my parents gone now I'd give anything to have a Sunday dinner with my whole family, I'm not even sure that you even understand what their Sunday dinner is. I'm a fan of Tom Selleck as Jessee Stone, but Blue Bloods just doesn't cut it for me. A town police chief of Paradise, Massachusetts, livs alone with his Golden Retriever drinks two slugs of Scotch (JW Red) investigates crimes and invariably shoots the perpetrator. The woman have all had a romantic relationship at one time with Chief Stone so there is a connection still. The show looks tight and the town has rural characteristics. Blue Bloods is big city New York a modern day Hill Street Blues. In Blue Bloods the evening meal gathering of the family with its patriarch sitting at the long tables head is more like a company board room than a feel good family affair. This is where the sage advise eminates. I'll see how the next few episodes pan out before we return the DVDs to the town library in the hope I can get into Blue Bloods groove, but I'm not so hopeful - we'll see

There’s plenty of left sided views portrayed in the show… but in knowing the focal point of the show is centered around a Catholic family of cops they’re obviously going to lean towards a pro-cop theme … that being said.., they didn’t go all that far right either… none of them are spouting “blue lives matter” crap. They continually, in some way shape or form communicate their privilege as a white middle class cop family. So they didn’t bow to the right either. So if you’re far right and think the show is far right then you’ve missed some of the messaging. I’ve seen numerous times how they highlight certain societal issues without taking a hard stance but rather a more moderate stance actually … well, a moderate to right stance because their audience is mostly moderate to right folk. I like this show simply because they’re not polarizing but show a typical reality faced by middle class white cop families. If they were gonna go really far right and show what it’s really like then their family would be getting more recognition and more medals and they’d be pushing their cop family members to get their medals as opposed to missing opportunities because of privilege and not wanting to promote nepotism within the ranks which in most places is a real problem.

I love this show. While I'm not Catholic, I am Christian. I say let the Catholics be behind the modern times when it comes to homosexuality. No good can come of inclusion for all. It would just be another fallen thing that won't attract anyone. Just ask Bud Light or Disney. The episode where Danny is falsely accused is probably on of my first favorites, if not my first favorite. Intro into Darnell Potter. An insight into race baiters and social commentary how people are manipulated. Often times it's whoever says it first is believed and damn any facts that come out later.
I truly enjoy Blue Bloods. But it does lean right, and straddles the line with being overly pro-cop. The Frank, PC in particular, although seemingly hyper-moral and ethical. His dialogue and assumptions are indisputably right leaning. But just the same, leaves us thinking how great it would be to have a Commissioner like Frank, at the helm of the NYPD.
