Brilliant explanation. Liked and subscribed. Getting into rowing now that my knees hate running. Lucky enough have an old Concept II to enjoy.

Ahhh excellent news. The Concept II's last forever too, so old or not, still a great tool! Happy to help, any questions just shout. Certainly understand the knee thing, one of the many beauties of rowing.

Amazing, great to get advice from a gold medal Olympian!
Can you advise on the best rowing program for those with a busy schedule but still wanting a good 2k?

Hi Alex, loving the content! I’ve learnt so much from your videos already…. & have made changes based on your advice that I’m seeing results with…. esp the drag factor, as I clearly had it way too high. Could you do a video on how best to approach a 2k. I’m a 53yr old lightweight & currently training for the BRIC in Dec. I really want to break 6:50….so any race plan tips would be massively appreciated. I never rowed as a youngster, so this is all quite new to me. Thanks in advance. Dave.

Hi Dave, thanks and that's great to hear. I'll have a think and plan something along those lines. Please feel free to get in contact if you would like; alex@alexgregorygb.com
You could also check out mindbodyrow.com where I have many more rowing films uploaded to row alongside and update regularly. Just another option that may help. Best, Alex.

@@alexgregorygb I would go more into detail, when to activate smaller muscles, drive height, finger position, power curve, and legs for recovery

@@TheNikkSazz Great. All good things to add.
