i have gone for laser hair removal on my face .the machine is not the same.it is more kind of relaxing .mine was tingling.but one session lasted to 10 to 15 min so it is bearable.when i started it i was going after every month and hair came back thinner and less.now its over 2.5 yrs total.right now i go for maintenance session after every 6 months.laser only reduces ur hair growth.but considering that i had to wax every week as i has thick hair on my face.now relaxing for 6 months is like a dream come true. but yeah patch test is necessary.i want to mention that laser hair removal can cause some people hyper pigmentation.it has happened to me.i got very slight hyper pigmentation during these treatments.i use pure aloevera gel right from the plant for continuously a week after each laser session.it has stopped further hyper pigmentation to form. one more thing never ever wax or pluck hair when u r between laser treatments.
