    Wiggy nailed the situation with his analogy of the NE QB, AVP and offense 100 %. Yup, I said that.

    Y’all do know Brady and Bill would meet every week in Bills office right? Jerod saying there’s nothing he can do when the players cross those white lines shows he’s in way over his head. You don’t just coach players during the week. You also coach them up during the game. He has to go after the season is over.

      If you actually watched the mayo interview he was referring to penalties , the player needs to not jump. Mayo or bill can’t be out there holding there hand. Stop trying to be bills gf

      Bro maybe you need to go re-listen. He clearly was talking about players and penalties!

      Mayo stinks. You watch the game and when they show the Patriots sideline you can't even tell who the head coach is

    Mayo doesn't look like he's in control

    Like all CEOs'' they all use the same buzz words from the same training manual. But is it really worth anything? A better place for Mayo would be as head of the Department of Fan Relations for the Patriots.

    Why are they saying AVP isn’t the right guy for Drake if Drake is ahead of schedule? Next, NEP roster can’t even handle much more than what they are given right now. AVP is slowly letting out more every week. He’s the right guy for right now. That last thing we want is switching around all the coordinators on Drake.

      AVP is the only one showing anything. Wolf, Mayo and Covington have done nothing but show they didn't deserve the job in the first place. Drake has certainly come along and the offense is showing more and more. Still, if you could find a young offensive minded guy to become the head coach, there may not be room for AVP.

      @@patriotsdynasty4866 I look at it like AVP is only rolling out plays that the offense can actually handle given the talent level. I look at the play calls as a function of that and the conservative nature of the head coach. I think the offensive has made progress every week. Plus, given what happened to Mac, not a fan of a new offensive coordinator every season.

    As a longtime Pats fan, I am uninterested in winning games now. This is about the draft and getting young, quality, CHEAP players to form the basis of new era with Maye. WInning is handicapping the team and selfish for the fan to gain an above average Sunday. Get the picks. Sorry, not sorry.

    Personally I don’t like Mayo’s CEO style of coaching or leading. The thing that bothers me is that I never see him coach. And I’m sure he is coaching behind the scenes but I never see him doing any in game coaching, and that bothers me. He just stands on the sideline, players get penalties, players step out of bounds, drop balls, fumble, the def is getting their lunch money taken play after play after play, and coach Mayo does nothing. Idk but that bothers me, go say something to these players, go over to the bench and coach! Esp if the defense Is getting its ass handed to them, go over there rally the troops do some coaching. That’s the one thing I miss about Bill, he would tell Brady Hey what’s up with that throw, or bench fumblers, or when the shit was hitting the fan he would be over at the bench coaching up the players and in some cases take over the defensive calls. So I wish the head coach of the patriots would actually do some in game coaching. They should have hired Vrabel and they should have had Josh dust off his playbook and come be the OC, started Maye week 1. We would be in the playoffs right now and watching football instead of looking forward to next year already- again.

      You don't really need to explain it with so much detail. Belichick is one of the all-time great head coaches and one of the greatest defensive minds ever in the game. Belichick made many players on the team seem better than they actually were. That's why the Pats won even with a low payroll. Bill would constantly sign guys from other teams on low contracts and they would be better here than on the teams they came from. This is something that is almost impossible to replace. Mayo is some guy they are giving a first chance to to see if he can learn. You're basically getting the bottom of the barrel. There is no way to compare Belichick to Mayo.

    • @thefullmonty3305
      @thefullmonty3305 19 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @ yeah I understand that Bill was the greatest coach of all time, and that he elevated players and used them in ways other coaches couldn’t. But you don’t have to be a hall of famer coach to do in game coaching. This is my point. Other coaches do it why isn’t Mayo?

    Will another year make Mayo better or the team worse? Mayo is a good guy, but a mediocre Head Coach. But the owner loves him and will keep him as long as he can.

    • @BaronVonMunch
      @BaronVonMunch 23 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Calling Mayo mediocre is way too kind. He's clearly one of the worst in the league at this point. He needs to spend years doing other things, or coaching in other leagues, to be able to try to be an NFL head coach. I'm sure Kraft will bring him back next year, but can't see how he could keep him any longer if the team is the same clown show next year.

      @BaronVonMunch 23 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, he needs to be his own person. Just not an NFL head coach, at least at this point in time. We don't have 5 to 10 years to wait to see if he can figure it out. Kraft better get off his ass and do something before the fans revolt.

    I would love to be able to root against Jerod Mayo. Everything about him sucks. He’s racist, arrogant, and incompetent.
    It’s the most disappointing coaching hire from any team in the region in my lifetime. He wasn’t qualified and they’re going to waste Maye’s career if they keep Mayo around hoping for a miracle. He is what he is.

    • @BaronVonMunch
      @BaronVonMunch 23 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      It sadly likely was a dei hire. Kraft should know how many corporations have dropped dei programs this past year because of how badly they've failed. They realized that merit does actually mean something. Also, the investment houses are no longer giving interest rate breaks on this stuff anymore and that's something that Kraft really cares about.
