- Hello everyone! In this travel vlog we're exploring Lake Como ITALY 🇮🇹 specifically, Milan, Varenna & Bellagio!
It was a day trip starting off from Milan from where we took the train to Varenna and then a ferry ride to Bellagio. It's a lovely place for exploring the natural beauty of Italy!

Beautiful video. Did u have to pay for visiting Giardino Botanico di villa? N also did u pay to visit Punta in Bellagio?

Thank you! Yes, for Giardino Botanico di Villa Cipressi it was €10, but they also have a combo ticket including Villa Monastero for around €19. You don’t need to pay anything to visit Punta, there’s a restaurant nearby with that name.

I took the ferry to Bellagio from Varenna ferry terminal, which is around 10mins walk from the Varenna train station. I didn’t go to Como, so can’t say exactly how far that is from the ferry terminal. Where will you be going by ferry from Como S. Giovanni?

Ok, it looks like the ferry terminal is 13mins walk away from Como S Giovanni station. Otherwise you can catch the bus number C10 from the train station which will take you 5mins.

We bought our tickets on the day at the train station in Milano. But as suggested by the person above, you can also purchase it in advance through the Trainline app.

We took our train around 10.20ish and it took around 1h 16mins to reach Varenna. We headed back to Milan at around 6pm. The trains usually run every hour between Milan Central Station and Varenna Esino station, but it’s always better to check before going. You can check either using trainline app or visiting Trenord.it
