The guy who sang the high note in this video and in "Hold Me Tight" is Jimin, he has a very unique voice. He can sing very soft, angelic, almost feminine and also deep and raspy. And then there are his famous high notes.
Unfortunately he is not really confident about his voice but I find it really outstanding and it impressed me as soon as I heard him for the very first time

Yeah most Kpop songs are known to have a bit of English in their songs. Also I personally don't think that pink is a "gender standard" color y'know lol. Anyone can wear pink, it's just a color after all. Jin, one of the vocalists favorite color is actually pink, and he's stated before that it was his favorite hair color.

Fr, was just thinking the same thing. No offense to him but it's kinda very old fashioned to think pink equal girls or feminine😅. In the end, it's just a color anyone can wear like you said, they don't have genders. Society just made it be that way. Not only does he sing so amazingly but is dancing while singing along with stunningly beautiful choreography that incorporates different styles as well. Please make sure it's the one by midnight_show jm. which is a fan made Fancam that's so good that it has over 1.5 million views. It's the only one that just focuses on him and does more closeups better showing his dance moves down to his leg movements. The others are actually from DVD's that also pan the audience and misses some key moments and movements. The DVD one I'd also a cleaned up version that does not allow for the reactions from the audience and also seems to enhance the sound quality in a way that makes the performance not as personal.

I was actually hoping you'd comment more on their vocals especially since this is a live performance and this is a "vocal coach" reaction.
Miss L he already did. The thing is BTS are the same people in every video, so he can't just repeat the same comments over and over again for you
shi. Plz bare in mind that he JUST got into their videos. I remember when i first saw BTS i couldn't tell them apart at all, and their voices sounded EXACTLY the same. In this case it's hard to give particular comments/'criticism'. Just give him a break
shi. I'm not 'making up' excuses. I'm just looking at it more from my perspective maybe. He's still more informative than many 'Vocal Coach' reactions that i've seen tho, just my opinion
Assika Mei Are you sure? As far as I've seen this is the least informative vocal coach reaction. I still enjoyed it though because its fun to introduce new music to people and see their first reaction to a song. But as a vocal coach reaction I didn't get anything from it, I was myself hoping he would explain the technique to Jimin's highnote( was it done well, was it head voice, what is the technique he used to do it.. u get what I mean). But I understand if the point of the video wasn't to explain techniques, it is afterall named "reaction" not " analysis", but like the commenter said the title is a bit misleading, and we have the right to criticize for it.

That high note was Jimin btw! Normally when you hear a high note in a BTS song it's Jimin singing it, lately though Jin has been getting more opportunities to showcase his voice.

Yeah, I just said it bc I watch a lot of vocal coach reactions, not only bts related and he's really different, doesn't really talk about range, what notes they're hitting, how hard or easy it is, doesn't talk about their techniques, says he can't analyse rap bc he's a vocal coach as if rap doesn't use your voice fjkdh but yeah, thank you for considering 💜

this is one of my fave songs/performances from them for a lot of reasons: 1. Jin has so many lovely leading vocals in the chorus 2. jimins high notes. 3. jungkook's harmonies 4. tae's sultry low notes and that he opens it. 5. the vocalists lead the power of the song and the RAP is the chill part of the song. 6. THE GUITARS and the LIGHTS making it such a great SHOW. 6. u can hear the audience singing along sometimes

BTS Rap line, Vocal Line and the Dance line all work well together, Their videos are alway epic but the live shows displays that they are not only singing, rapping but while dancing at the same time and keeping the vocals on point. This is why Army loves them, yes we can always watch their music videos but to see them live is a thrill of a lifetime. I watch the music videos with eng sub just so I get the feelings but I live for the live shows, concerts, and awards shows as well. They always work so hard to show us a great stage performance.

The member that hits that high note at the end is named Jimin, and believe it or not he has almost no confidence in his voice. He has talked about how he wishes to have a voice that will move people and how he’s working harder on it. He’s a perfectionist and if his voice cracks or anything during a live show he’s really hard on himself.

Many songs at BTS concerts are adapted into a rock sound since they have a live band. This performance sounds pretty different from the studio recording!
