Suffolk Stour roach part Two

Part Two of my journey along the Suffolk Stour in search for roach, I spent just a couple of hours fishing with trotted bread on the stick float, hope you enjoy.

Thank for putting it together, brings back memorise of catching a coach out that way and fishing for the roach. When laying on there were always a few tench caught and 50 years or more ago. Thanks again.

Enjoyed the video. Interesting to see the river conditions down by you on Sunday. I visited the upper river for the first time this season on Sunday and it was unfishable due to flooding. Dropped downstream a few miles and fished for few hours before if became unfishable there too. Still good the river is getting a good flush through so early in the autumn

Really enjoying your river trotting videos on the Suffolk Stour. Would you be able to talk us through your set up, line choice, bottom choice, hook size etc. On the upper Soar in Leicestershire here I fished after the rain last week and, in areas where I normally catch a few, I couldn’t get a bite.

I use the cheap coop bread and I also mix some bran in with it.
