this is where the music theory comes in handy He doesn't even have to listen and he knows exactly what to do Whether other producers do things 'by ear'
A lot of them do everything from scratch whereas Retro uses his presets, his mixer template etc. His workflow is way more advanced than theirs, that's why it sounds so good pretty fast :)
Yeah man i was like “damn he made this track in 30 mins thats inssaassne what more can you even do” and then i heard the outro and i was like FFUUUUCCCCKKKKKK 😮😮😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥
OK I've just watched this and even though I saw how you did everything, I still think that this is some insane next level craziness. How u came up with this so quick and executed it so well... Damn.
This video gave my so much inspiration. I tried to attempt to make a track in 30 min aswell and after some fine tuning I continued working on it and now it may be the best thing i've ever created. Thanks to this video!
When I see you using Ableton I'm thinking either I'm not using Fl Studio as efficiently as possible, or maybe I should consider switching DAW, the way you can do things in a matter of seconds that cost me several minutes is astounding Also I would've appreciated one final listen of the entire song at the end of the video, but aside from that, great video!
we need more producer stuff please :D Please show how you use effects on leads and bass etc. And I love how you use the ableton stock plugins so effectively
Key things I grabbed:- * Polyphony & detune making synth sounds bigger * Use of automations on pitch & filter envelopes * Utilizing a KSHMR sample pack correctly * Art of manipulating vocals * Reverse reverberations * Slicing out a dope white noise - how it can add an insane groove 😍😍 * Tape stops and pitch LFOs at ends of phrases. * Using a volume automation plugin in a group to save time (instead of using real sidechain compressors at every individual track; it's time consuming, and the yield is non uniform and desynced). Also making sure to turn it off when not necessary. Brooo... Thanks a lot for this video. Enjoyed and learned A LOT !!!! If you can, please teach us how you generated those synth sounds from 7:00 - 9:00 They really give that blazing signature tone 😍👍👍 I find it hard to create such powerful synth sounds by tuning out the plugin. Must be a lot to learn, or may be there are key secrets I don't know. So if you can do a video on how to work them out, it'll be a ton of help!!..
Oh dude this is just insane what you created in less than 30 minutes! Definitely totally underrated dj and producer in my opinion! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us
Every producer’s tutorial : professional studio with synthesizer and other producer shit Retro : airport 😎😎😎 thx for this amazing vid bro, really helpful!
This is awesome! I’m a new producer and this gave me a lot of ‘aha!’ moments. Please consider making more of these videos that show your full process of making a song, it helps us new producers a lot!
from what I've noticed, the brooks preset by itself was as he said nothing more than a standard saw patch. 8 voices of saw on two oscillators detuned. What really gave it its sound is if you look properly the post processing he's done outside of sylenth1 in ableton with the overdrive and EQ8. So I don't think you'll be able to find the preset. Even if you did it won't sound anything like it. Seems like he made it himself.
Awesome video man! How exactly do you know which notes to use and how do you know in which scale the song is? Because sometimes you place correctly sounding notes on the grid without even listening to them 👌🏼
mfjan12 I don't really know to be honest, I simply hear when it works and when it doesn't, but there is plenty of tutorials on how that works on TH-cam :)
It's just crazy to watch how you make a track. Your tracks are insane. Have been in love with your sound design. Also, please make a tutorial video on the chords that you make in the drop. Would like to know more from you. And all the best buddy. With love from India🇮🇳❤️❤️❤️ Also, happy birthday Alban🎉

Hey all ! Hope you will like this terrible track I tried to make in less than 30 minutes :) What should be my next video?
Dude, terrible track?! I don't think so! This is awesome to see your producing skills haha. Release that thing man!
A day in the life of Retrovision would be pretty sick
Sick how you can make it that fast!👍
That are the results of being talented imo ;)
Release it as a Non Copyrighted Song so that we can use it.
Retro Vision makes masterpiece in 30 mins.
Me in 30 mins. “YES, I found a kick”
