Doesn't sound dumb at all. Tropical aesthetics are very relaxing and its an amazing feeling to be relaxed. Our souls are deeply connected to the sea. These songs are legitimate tropical songs so it really caputres that dream of being near the ocean with the sand and enjoying freedom. I'm happy that you and everyone else in the comments find this video relaxing.

If you can actually afford moving there, chances are you are doing pretty well for yourself; In which case I'd recommend living somewhere cheaper and budgeting to take regular trips out there if it's somewhere you really want to be. The cost of perpetually living there, overcrowding, etc can sometimes outweigh the benefits of living in such a beautiful place. It is an amazing place, though.
@@besivvle1242 As others have said, the cost of living is near impossible. Traffic is comically bad. The tourists are a pain. And its over-crowded.
But when your off island, you'll always feel drawn back. Whether it be the chill Aloha Fridays, sitting on the beach over by Mokuleia, or just a sandwich from Storto's in Haleiwa.

The FACT you are 16 and still have VHS tapes is amazing to me. I am turning 30 this year and I too found this and I fell in love with this music. Music is a powerful thing. I bought seasons 1-5 on eBay for like 75 bucks and all seasons had inserts from the creator. It is a peace of history I will forever keep. I hope day when I get kids, I will show them this show and others so they appreciate this. If you have old VHS tapes, keep em. You will thank yourself later. A piece of childhood never hurts anyone. I plan to buy DVD of all my favorite shows just to say I have them.

@@015cn For the longest time I lived with my grandmother, she'd go out and buy me and my sister any VHS tape she found at garage sales because the only other thing we had to watch back then was cable TV and where was slim pickings of what we could watch. I've kept every VHS tape I possibly could when we moved back in with my mom and though I have yet to watch any of them, I will forever keep them and let my kids watch the VeggieTales and Disney tapes I had even if they think it's boring. (Not that I have kids yet though lmao!)

0:00 It's the early morning. SpongeBob and Patrick arrive at Goo Lagoon Beach. The sun has not risen high yet and is illuminating the sand with a soft light. This hawaiian theme plays from a nearby cafe. There are a few people, someone is laying out deck chairs, someone is already splashing in the water still cool after the night. But you can feel that life is full of swing already. It's going to be a cool day!
4:06 Ah, the first entry into the water! As soon as the boys laid out the deck chairs, Patrick rushed to swim with a merry laugh, followed by SpongeBob. The water is still cool, but very refreshing. Patrick and SpongeBob are splashing each other with water in the sunshine.
5:50 The sun has already started to warm up the water and you don't want to get out of it at all. A few somersaults into the water off a friend's shoulders is a great idea. Patrick barely climbs up on SpongeBob and immediately they plunge into the water under his weight and then come out laughing merrily.
7:23 Some beautiful clams have come ashore. «Wow Patrick, look how beautifully they glisten in the sunlight!». The boys gaze at them mesmerized. «We should let them go so they can come home» - says SpongeBob. And they let them go into the deep ocean, dreamily watching them sail away.
7:54 Time to dry off! The guys come ashore. SpongeBob smears some sunscreen on his nose, puts on his sunglasses and lies down on a sun bed enjoying the hot sun. Patrick looked at SpongeBob, took out his glasses and... put them on his belly. The boys laugh gleefully and then just lie there, sunbathing.
10:21 Ah, a lazy hour! You can lie around listening to the sound of the waves, make a stream in the sand, or just chat with Patrick. Although no, Patrick fell asleep with a big smile and snored sweetly. Let's let him get some rest!
11:31 SpongeBob also snoozed and woke up to Patrick's shout: «SpongeBob, look!». SpongeBob looked out to sea, and there was Sandy surfing on a big wave, doing all sorts of cool tricks. Patrick shouted: «I want to do it too!». The boys grabbed their surfboards and ran to the sea. They quickly caught up with Sandy and rode the wave together. SpongeBob did the «Not even a nail» trick, standing on the board with his nose. And Patrick put the board on his head and rode the wave on his back.
13:42 After giving the whole beach a great show, the guys decided to just ride for fun. How fast the board rolls on the blue wave forward, on multi-coloured thousand of sparks. Just a dream!
14:58 When the boys returned to shore, the cops came to the beach. They lined everyone up and forbade them to enter the water. An officer announced that a super-important item was missing from the police station: a red bottle of hot sauce, without which cops can't eat lunch. «You!» - shouted the officer, pointing at a fish with a tail on its head. «You look suspicious! What's that red stuff in your fins? It looks like a bottle!». The fish with a tail sweated: «There… There... it's private…». The officer walked up close to the fish: «Then how do you explain these spots that lead right to you?». There were indeed sauce stains on the sand in front of the fish. The officer menacingly snatched the red bottle from the fish and… it turned out not to be a bottle, but a rolled up towel. The officer unfolded it and loudly read: «To my favourite Ponytail, your mom». The fish sweated even more. Suddenly one of the cops said in a trembling voice: «Sir, Sir, in your back pocket, I think you sat on it…».
Comic-style freeze frame: the officer looks surprised to see his back pocket with a bottle sticking out of it. Everyone laughed out loud. «You got lucky this time» the officer said. The cops walked off the beach.

17:55 The sea is open again! Everyone is going swimming or sunbathing. «You know what would be great right now? - asked SpongeBob. «To eat an ice cream!» - shouted Patrick happily. The boys went to a shop nearby. SpongeBob got himself a double scoop of vanilla ice cream, and Patrick got an ice cream with mustard and bacon. The sun was warming up, the waves were gently crashing against the shore, a light breeze dispelled the heat, how good the life is!
20:05 Patrick finished his ice cream and put the cone on his head: «Hey, SpongeBob! Whoever's got the cone on his head is catching up!». Then he ran along the shore. SpongeBob ran after him. Splashes, laughing, water, wet sand. SpongeBob caught up with Patrick, grabbed the cone off his head and ran the other way. After a few seconds he felt the cone got ripped off his head. He turned around to rush after Patrick, but didn't see him. Then he saw Patrick with the cone on his head, standing in front of the souvenir vendor. «Aha, There you are!» - exclaimed SpongeBob happily and grabbed the cone. Patrick turned around and... it wasn't Patrick, but some starfish with big moustache. «Behave yourself, sir» - the starfish said, took the cone and walked away. SpongeBob looked at the vendor's basket, and there were souvenir waffle cones for sale. «Where's Patrick then?» - thought SpongeBob...
21:39 Suddenly, SpongeBob heard a familiar disgruntled voice. He looked around and saw SQUIDWARD ON A CHAIR spitting out sand and yelling at someone. Next to Squidward, Patrick was digging the ground fast, throwing the sand at Squidward: «SpongeBob, where are you? Where are you, SpongeBob?». SpongeBob ran up to them. Squidward, spitting out another handful of sand angrily said to Patrick: «There he is, standing right in front of you!». Patrick, started looking around confused and suddenly spotted SpongeBob. «Hi, SpongeBob!» - said Patrick with a carefree look.
- Patrick, I lost you, I thought you…
- Lost?! I'm, what am I, lost?!
Patrick started to step over his feet: «I’m lost, forever…» Patrick accidentally steps on a tube of sunscreen, which sprays directly into Squidward's face, who has just cleared himself of sand. The cream gave Squidward a lush moustache and beard. SpongeBob laughed and said: «Squidward, you look like Santa Claus!». «Santa Claus?» - exclaimed Patrick. «It’s Christmas time, hurray! Can I tell a poem?» - then flopped on Squidward. Squidward started mooing from under Patrick and shaking his tentacles. «Oh, Squidward, I'm sorry, can I tell a poem standing up?» - said Patrick. Furious Squidward yells: «GET OUT OF HERE!!!».
22:48 The boys moved away. «I guess Squidward doesn't like poems» - said Patrick. «Nah, I think he just is too sensitive» - answered SpongeBob. Then said: «Patrick, do you know what time it is? It's lunchtime! And I've just got a couple of krabby patties!». The friends quietly eat their krabby patties while enjoying the splashing of the waves. The beach is quiet and peaceful, even Squidward, happy to be away from them, is lying back sunbathing with a smile.
24:39 After eating lunch, the boys notice Larry, Sandy and the other fish are playing volleyball. «Let’s go play with them» - says Patrick and they run to the players: «Guys take us on the team!». «I’d love to!» - replies Larry.
Sandy throws the first pass and it flies right at... Patrick's ass, who was glaring at a banana ride in the sea. Luckily from Patrick's iron ass the ball flies high and the fish from the other team can't catch them.
- Yay, Patrick, we got a point! - SpongeBob shouts excitedly.
- A point? For what? - answers Patrick with estranged face.
- For your volleyball shot, of course!
- Do we play volleyball? (Question Sound).
A tense game ensued. The teams are on equal footing. Larry served the ball, a fish from the other team kicked it out of bounds and it flew straight at SpongeBob. SpongeBob jumped straight up to the sky - high and high, just to kick the ball and not lose! With a beautiful somersault he kicks the ball, hopeless for the other team, gets the winning point, sinks down in a victorious pose and... discovers that his pants are torn. Everyone is stunned, and then laughs. SpongeBob, blushing, slowly backs away to change his clothes.
26:45 Commercial break.
(French announcer): «Ah, Goo Lagoon. A place where you can relax and gain strength. This beach is famous for its beautiful visitors (shot of ugly fish sleeping on sun beds), comfortable conditions (shot of a broken umbrella falling) and extra-class lifeguards (shot of an empty lifeguard chair). I think one of the visitors is now changing in our super modern cabin! Let's take a look (Several angles of the old, crumbling wooden cabin and then a big hole in the wall through which you can see SpongeBob's butt). Aah… (A general layout of the beach). Well wouldn't you like to spend your day off on this beach?»
28:55 SpongeBob comes out of the stall and is greeted by Patrick with a ukulele.
- SpongeBob, look what I found!
- Great, Patrick! Let’s play!
- Play? (A shot of Patrick chewing on the ukulele).
Sponge Bob takes the ukulele from him and starts playing this tune in front of all the fish on the beach. One fish with a carefree look threw a coin, other fish enthusiastically shouted «Come on boy». When SpongeBob played in front of a just married couple in the wedding costumes, the wife said to the husband: «It was your idea».
30:48 Sponge Bob came with the ukulele to Plankton, who had been asking something all the passing byes, but no one heard him.
- Plankton! I didn't know you went to the beach too! Would you like me to play the ukulele for you?
- Ukulele? You're just in time! I'm just giving a concert tonight with my orchestra and I've been missing a guy with a ukulele! Then we can start right away!
Plankton walks with SpongeBob to the stage, whistles, and an orchestra of other Planktonians gathers around him. Plankton waves his conductor's wand and the orchestra begins their theme. Folks rush in, SpongeBob plays a ukulele like Jammy Jellix, and a real rock show begins. The culmination - Squidward appears on stage in a gorgeous wig and gives a fiery clarinet solo. Patrick climbs onto the stage and jumps into the crowd that picks his up and throws into the sea. Wow! What the concert it was!

For this I will take your soul!». I pleaded: «What can I do to avoid this?». «You have two choices! Either grapple in a mortal combat with the mother of this little one clam and survive...». I trembled, as I had heard the famous sailors' tales of the most fearsome sea monster, the giant diamond clam. «... oh, she's already swimming here, in search of her baby…» - continued Flying Dutchman. «Oh, what's the second option?» - shouted I. «Pay me one penny and you'll be home instantly» - replied Flying Dutchman. The choice was obvious.

In total darkness I fought its giant tongue, whipping and twisting it. But it was winning. I thought it was the end of your old sailor, but then I remembered that the little clam was still in my pocket. I realized that I had taken away her most precious possession, her baby: «Stop!» - I screamed. Then I put the baby on her tongue. She licked it affectionately and calmed down.
«I have a plan» - I said...
Flying Dutchman was celebrating his victory, preparing to take my soul. But suddenly the giant clam opened its jaws and I, standing tall on its tongue, in one second threw the fishing rod into the Dutchman’s back pocket and pulled out from there... his famous sock, without which he can't eat. «What do you say now, Dutchman?» - said I. «Take what you want Krabs, just give me the sock!» - begged Dutchman.

And tomorrow my parents will come to visit me, my mom will make her famous pie and my dad will teach me how to drive a boat. It'll be another happy day of my wonderful life». SpongeBob took one more look at the beach, then turned and went home.

This reminds me of when my parents took me to this super expensive hotel when I was younger and they had a tiki zone in the pools and the music was tropical and then I remember getting room service and watching spongebob, also I watched a ton of spongebob at my grandma’s when I was younger.
