This room reminds me of Pete Door's collection I watched like over a decade ago. I think this room is one of my favorites I've seen in so long, this made me want to collect, plus you have good taste in music, with Xenoblade, and DKC. I'm only thirty minutes in, you also have such a relaxing voice.

Oh my WORD what a game room tour. I have so many thoughts so I'm just going to keep a running list of things here (please feel no obligation to respond to each bullet point or this comment at all, I just need to live react to this right now lol):
Those drawings from your nieces and nephews are absolute treasures, I can't choose which Mario drawing is better becuase they're both perfect in their own right.
The music playing in the background to the queue of what you're often talking about is *chefs kiss* perfect, especially when those Dark Cloud tunes kicked in! Also, games being alphabitized brings me SO much joy.
Some truly special items/games/memorabilia in your game room. That Jak II standee and Bouncer/FFIX display look SO good!
Thank you for taking us on this room tour journey and sharing with us, Blink! Loved hearing all of the stories you shared and why everything in the game room is so special to you. Lastly, you have once again inspired me. I think it's time to get the relewis2011 Room Tour filmed 💜

Just an absolutely amazing game collection and perfectly executed gameroom tour sir! This is exactly the type of video I wished all true retro game fans could pull off but knowing you a bit I am not surprised at all how perfectly in tune you are with being able to express your thoughts and show the true passion you have as a retro game fan and collector. Just simply amazing and too many things to take in but I will tell you right now that among the many things I am envious of the near complete Gizmondo collection is just simply insane! 3:32 - Love these pre-order bonus posters. Got the same ones myself! Both the DS2 and Pokemon ones were pre-order bonuses at EB Games for me.

I actually got my Series X on launch day by staying over night in the parking lot out front of Game Stop. They only had 4 available and I was 3rd in line. Definitrely felt great and nostalgic to actually get my console that way, plus at the time getting it for retail price was also a big deal for a long long time
you have such a great collection of games! Also love the cool standees and plushes. Gives me an idea when I get to make a game room for myself one day. :D

Funny you should say that sega genesis was your first console, because when I was 8 and little brother was 6, we went "shop with a cop" and he got the nes and I got the sega genesis and my first games were sonic 2 and 3 and his was super mario bros 3. Brings back so many memories, my collection is a lot smaller now because I had to sell off a lot of it to pay some bills but def looking to rebuild. I have a few games in my collection that you didn't have but mostly similar taste.
I need to start collecting now. I have a fairly large flat but just needs an extra room (gaming room) 😂.

Wow! I have a very similar story to oracle of seasons.
We were gearing up for a long road trip and my mother let me choose any game at the store. I chose oracle of seasons and played it the entire way there and back.
It’s my number #1 all time favorite game. I just recently started playing it again!

Could you PLEASE let all of the retro gaming community online know that I live in Raleigh North Carolina and I work in Cary North Carolina which was recently announced the richest city in the United States 🤦♂️ BUT I sure can’t tell because we don’t have a single retro gaming store in Raleigh or Cary North Carolina. Not even one it’s really sad and depressing it feels like sacrilege man for the love of God will you please tell someone to open a mom and pop retro gaming store in this area. The 919 deserves BETTER 🙌

Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. I too still haven’t beaten it. I had downloaded a guide years ago that’s all text and taped all the pages together.
There’s a Sonic playset next to the OG Xbox on the bottom of the shelf.
Do you know how collectors can tell you’re a collector and not a casual gamer. Because you don’t have any greatest hits and you have Muppet monster adventure on the PlayStation one. Can’t fool me man!

I have around 50-60 GameGear games and their all boxed! I even have the very expensive Pete Sambras Tennis. On eBay it’s going for $899.99!

I applaud you for only getting games that you care about or have use for. I think a major problem with the current state of game collecting is people buying up any game possible just because some streamer or TH-cam person told them to. Game prices are absurd now, seems incredibly goofy to me to buy a game for ridiculous amounts of money for something that has zero personal meaning or just going to put it on a shelf for a shallow showoff video or Reddit post, but if you have history or nostalgia and it means that much to you to drop $50-100+ for a game then that's cool. Sweet room.

Great collection! I recently picked up a Japanese Sega Saturn. Which games would you recommend that are playable for someone that knows zero Japanese?
Congrats on getting a Japanese Saturn!! Lots of the shoot em ups like Batsugun, Cotton 2, etc are all very easy without knowing the language. You could also check out Keio Flying Squadron 2 and Silly Wombat, both of which are platformers
