Awesome! You can definitely see where Frank gets his work ethic from. Super cool that he takes time for the people that he values. People take for granted being able to share a meal with loved ones. Thank you Frank. You have got life figured out my friend.
Absolutely an honor and privilege to be able to be introduced to your mother before and now your father and your childhood memories and town. Any fishing is very hard work to do. What an amazing man. You are one blessed son. Wonderful parents. Stay safe Frank ❤️🇺🇸💙
this explains where the badazz frank came from.. your parents where a huge sucess in giving you all that was needed along with your choices that lead frank to be the outstanding person that we all love.. thanks for being an outstanding person and it shows everyday and your daily interactions with us as an officer thank you for being a respectfull and courtesy officer of the law you hqve the utmost respect from me and im sure i speak for everyone else in the community by saying so.. Thank You for Your service and Thank u franks parents by raising such a man they definitely nailed it out of the park raising you right
My mouth was watering as you cooked the fish. Dipped in eggs and flour with salt and pepper, fried in butter, a timeless way to cook fresh fish. Culinary perfection.
Dad and Frank. You brought back some very old memories. My Dad would take us Crabbing on the Jersey side from the Statue of Liberty. We were not fishing for Blow Fish and when they were running we would be pulling crab traps full of blow Fish. They tasted so good. I haven’t had them since probably 1964 or so. Thanks for the memories.
We need More Dad's like yours,,, and Mine. He worked until his 80's and health declined to where he couldn't. His Dad was a Judge In Coolidge. so you know the area, Thank God for Great Dads!!
That’s so awesome Frank! Thank you for taking us along to meet your Dad and giving us a backstage look into your background and your Dad’s way of real life in a world of make believe. If I ever do get to shake your hand, it’ll be like an old friend catching up.
These Long Island vids are THE BEST !!!! Cool that you shared some of your "old stomping grounds" with your followers, Frank .... HUGE RESPECT for your father, and his way of LIFE
So cool. Thank you Deputy Sloup for the introduction to your wonderful Dad and hometown. It is very beautiful up there and I’m sure the people are just as wonderful. I will tell you, I had no idea that the blow fish was edible. To Deputy and Mr. Sloup, Gentlemen, stay safe out there - whether it be on the roads or on the water !!!
This makes sense. Dad very well educated. You got your smarts, dry humor and humility from dad. This is fast becoming a bygone error. The fact you are recording this history is amazing. Cool to glimpse the boy the man evolved from.
WOW! Your Dad is amazing! He has passed on a wealth of information and survival skills to you, and shared them with those watching. I love his humor. He looks younger than me, in better shape than me, and yet I am a few years younger than him. This has been one of your very best videos yet! I love fishing and miss it so much, but I have always fished in a lake, on a canal bank, or on a river. Please give your Dad a huge hug from this old lady in Arizona and thank him for sharing his day with us.
That was great Frank. I liked meeting your dad! I worked a commercial boat for 7 days off shore and worked a bunch of Sportfishing boats in San Diego and couldn’t hack it. I did it free though as they would let me fish. Tuff work!!! I have Respect!
Living in the Denver area now but grew up in the Boston area. We had boats and fished (not commercially) for fun. The scenery is the thing I miss most. Thank you for sharing.
Frank, your Dad is something else. My hat goes off to him. I see the resemblance between you both, and obviously, your parents have instilled your work ethic. Great video!!
Great video. Luv ocean fishing. But doing it as a living is extremely tough. Cool to see your dad still doing it at 78. He is a animal. Keeps him going.
Thank you Frank for introducing us to your Dad! I wish that schools could show videos about both of you, as you would be Great role models for the next generation.
Frank, what an awesome dad! And still working is what amazes me most. He's just a few year older than me and makes me realize that I have to get off my a$$ and do something or I'll never reach his age! You made me miss my dad more than ever with this video! I hope you realize that you have some precious footage, first with moms' ride along and now your day at work with dad!!! People, now you can see that cops are just like you and me! Going to work to make a living and then going home to be with family. If this doesn't make you see the human, normal side of cops then nothing will. God bless you both and stay safe!
What a treat to meet Mr. Sloup, Sr. in his element! It's heartening to see you spending quality time w/ your Pops considering that you're on the West Coast and you have a demanding career. Thanks for sharing what a day in No. NY looks like. No wonder you look happy whenever you return from visiting! Enjoy!
Greetings from a fellow Long Islander now in AZ. ❤ My dad used to go crabbing for fun. He once bought home a horseshoe crab to show us kids. He put it in the bathtub, and my sister refused to take a bath for a week.
When you said you were going fishing, I thought a row boat and a couple of fishing poles. 🤣🤣🤣 Very cool that you and your dad go out and work together! I wish all parents and kids were so close with each other. It was a joy to watch you and your dad.
Frank, Thank you for this video. I recently lost my dad. To see you with your dad and talk about growing up and showing us where you grew up made me smile. Enjoy these times.
Your dad is a beast out on those beautiful waters and he did one hell of a good job raising you. It's obvious how much you treasure every moment with him. You RULE Frank 🐡👮🏻♂️🐡
These kids, young adults and Companies today can learn so much from guys like Frank’s Dad. They are so quick to discard older people and that’s been a huge mistake in my opinion. God bless your Dad, Frank. Thank you for sharing.
I have that ‘Fridays with Frank’ t-shirt. The other day, all three guys behind the customer service desk on Elliot Rd recognized it being from your channel. Fans!
Fishing on the East Coast is fantastic. Lakes, ponds, streams the Atlantic and Hudson River make it a great fishery. I started fishing in the "creek" behind my Grandparents house in Cutchogue on the north fork of Long Island. Just too much fun.
The fact you are kind enough to share a few moments with your dad with us on TH-cam is awesome
78 and still working...God bless 'em.
AMAZING man, his father seems to be healthy, and still going strong ... WOW 78 😉👌👍👍👍👍👍
That's how he is 78 and still going strong! Day you stop working is the day you start dyeing
Frank, loved everything about this. You’re treating us all like family. I’m honored and thankful for the privilege.
What he said.
As opposed to loving just some of it?
