No mudflap law in the state of Indiana based on my research and as a resident I have never heard of one. In fact you stopping people for it was the first time I have ever heard of it at all. There's a WHOLE LOT of lifted trucks in this state.
I lived in Arizona for 20 years. At one time, I switched insurance companies and started the new policy about 2 weeks before my current policy expired. Shortly there after I received a suspension notice for having lapsed insurance. I took ALL of my paperwork and tried to explain to the MVD clerk that I had changed companies and had DOUBLE INSURANCE for about two weeks. This mental giant told me that I was not currently insured (DESPITE showing my new policy and declarations page clearly showing the effective date 2 weeks before my old coverage lapsed.) Couldn't get her to understand that I was double insured for a 2 week period because she INSISTED that I did not have insurance, that I let it lapse. I finally asked for someone who did done gradeate 6th grade and had to go through the whole thing AGAIN. I just couldn't get it through their thick skulls that I had coverage from a new company BEFORE MY OLD POLICY LAPSED. She told me that insurance companies were REQUIRED by Arizona to notify the MVD DAILY if a policy lapses or does not renew. I finally got someone a little higher up the food chain who understood right off that I was insured and had been continually insured and that I had 2 policies in effect for a 2 week period. THEN I got a notice from my NEW insurance company that I was listed in the data base as having my registration suspended for no proof of insurance. I told them the story and went back to the MVD and DEMANDED that they remove the suspension from my driving record because of THEIR ERROR. It took a couple of months to get it straightened out. So when an officer runs a plate, if the person has AN EXPIRED, NON RENEWED POLCIY and does NOT have a current policy, it WILL show up when a 10-28 is run. A lot of people would get a policy, put down a payment and stop paying, figuring as long as they had an unexpired insurance they could get away with it.
Hello Frank. Mike here in Tampa Fl. Will be in Vegas in September. Will be driving through Arizona. Just remember when you pull me over that I am on my way to the DMV.😁

Frank, I must tell you, sir, I had never had so much fun watching a TH-cam Video until I came upon yours. In the late 1970s, I served on a City Council in Southern California, and because of that position, did ride-a-longs with our department, three or four times a month. I was also able to do a ride along with Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Oregon, and a couple of others. I did this to learn what was going on in our city and to learn if there was anything our city could do better. OMG, how I wish you had been available then. Please don't misunderstand, our officers were Dam**d good, and I loved, and supported every one of them, but your approach and attitude are priceless! I only wish that I lived in your area so that I would have the opportunity to experience your skills firsthand.
I live in Indiana and the difference is our police understand the difference between someone who is actually being unsafe and someone who didn't meet the exact letter of the law of some b.s. regulation.

Frank you are an asset to AZ. I wish I had met you in my 55 years in AZ, not on a traffic stop.
I wish they would enforce annoying mufflers around here. It seems that every high school kid out here has an old ford pickup that is straight piped!
People argue because they do not realize it is counter productive. Sam should dub some carnival music.
He basically does.
Damn Frank thanks for the marriage tips, not what I expected, but certainly what we needed!
Some states do maintain a database of vehicle insurance. Georgia being one of them. Kind of nice not having to worry about it.
I learned a few things from this weeks video. Thank you sir!! I need to “fix” a few things 😂
I Feel like just speeding through Arizona just to meet you and get a Picture 😂
Always love the quick sneak of a sniff when they look away :)
Every day Frank posts is a good day!
Thanks!

@@FrankSloup If you ever want a patch from Millersburg PD in Ohio or Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio let me know!
@@kristopherjones8400 just send it to him
5'5" with a lifted truck. What a coincidence.
Write the ticket.... If you don't they never fix the problem!!!
Hello Frank. Mike here in Tampa Fl. Will be in Vegas in September. Will be driving through Arizona. Just remember when you pull me over that I am on my way to the DMV.😁
Thanks Franky for all you do
I learn a lot from these videos . I didn’t know that about stuff hanging from the rear view mirror. I don’t have anything there but it’s good to know for the future.
Same😳
Yes! Fridays with Frank on Saturday!!
The strength of the wolf is the pack and the strength of the pack is frank.
Can't wait for the Behind The Scenes of Friday's With Frank #93
Love this longer video!
FYI, *everything* is legal in Indiana, because we seem to have no laws whatsoever. Sigh...
We have laws, just no enforcement
Same in Georgia. Lived in Indiana most of my life but spent a few years down south, and there's even crazier stuff on cars down there.
I live in Indiana and the difference is our police understand the difference between someone who is actually being unsafe and someone who didn't meet the exact letter of the law of some b.s. regulation.
@@Kevs442 Interesting to know that your locals practice a discretion which is not afforded to them by statute. Of course if you live in Carmel the laws are different there. Indiana cops are no better than anywhere else; given the pay scale the opposite case could be made.
@@denali9449 Police almost always have discretion as to how they handle a situation.
I knew there was a reason I love Frank so much….. HE LOVES PITBULLS! I have a pit bull and he’s the best dog! Thank you Frank 💙
Never knew the 8" law. Thought the tires had to be covered if protruding out of the wheel well. Never lifted any of my trucks though. Thanks for the education Frank.
60’s and 70’s , Cherry Bomb and Thrush, glass packs. Great sound.
I’m with you… miss those days
Love pictures being taken with you. It's totally cool.
Sam, I like the music for these clips. It fits. Reminds me of bloopers and cartoons. 😂
It always cracks me up to see you laughing at your own jokes
I honestly haven't watched these episodes in more than a year, so I forgot how ridiculous some of them are.
I love your videos, I don't live in AZ, but it's made me a better driver ❤❤❤
The difference between a mudflap and a splash guard is experience! A experienced driver will keep it on the road, an inexperienced driver will end up in the field
If I ever ride through Pinal County, I will purposefully make sure that my truck is short of blinker fluid, so as to hopefully be stopped by Deputy Sloup. 💚⭐️💚
I call them bully trucks. I drive a small car and they always tailgate. Even when I am 5-10 mph over the speed in the #2 lane.
And they have bumper stickers that say “Have you driven under a Ford lately”
You’ve 💯 changed the view of the Sheriffs Department and Deputies where you patrol Frank. I think it’s awesome
Thanks!
I want to know what the other officers 👮 think about the success of “Friday’s With Frank”
I know they tease the crap out of him.
Go Frank
I meet cops all over the country who love it. And yes, my coworkers also give me a hard time.
