I just learned that a "hitman" from the "dark web" will knock on your door politely before burning your house down. They don't want to get a trespassing or breaking and entering charge on top of that arson and attempted murder. As a Gen X (53), this kind of behavior was not really a thing in the 70s/80s because we weren’t able to hide anonymously behind a computer persona. Any shit talking you did had to be face to face or over the phone. Either way, it was local, and you’d have to eventually face the consequences by facing the person you threatened. Little bitches like that guy would get beaten up routinely. After some public humiliations at school or wherever, they would finally learn some respect. That’s missing from society today.
