LCW really deserved a World Championship title in his career

Lee chong wei on Fire! i have never seen LCW so aggressive in any other game. Countless times i have wished for him to be a bit more aggressive in his gameplay but he mostly uses his defensive skills instead of offensive skills. If he had every time played like this against Lin Dan, i doubt that lin dan could have beaten him.

By 2018 LCW was losing more regularly in early rounds of tournaments and had lost the stamina to play 3 games at Max intensity. 2006- 2013 was his true prime.

i don't think axelson expects that strategy from lcw. Take the first game as quick as he can. It's almost the same strategy that lindan took when he beats lcw in all england not too long ago. This yields very short rallies, which i think lcw prefers. Note that, lcw didn't win many long rallies in this match. This explosive strategy also is good for team tournaments like thomas cup. It really does rev up the crowd and the upcoming matches against denmark.
But on the other hand, if axelson was able to drag it to the third game, quite certain it'll be a very different outcome.
Kenneth Leong I still think lcw should go all out in the 2nd game and smash like how he smash in the first game and not worry about the 3rd.I dont think lcw can win the 3rd set anyway if there is one.lcw is not a player that is good at playing rubble set unlike lindan and age is a very big factor.he lost most of time when he played rubble set with really strong players.
At 24 he still loses to the 35 year old and yet some people claim he's better. I wonder if he'll even be in top 100 at 35. Never compare a 1-2 time winner with a living legend.

Kento momota and axelsen are undeniably good but who can rule out lcw and lin dan when u talk about great badminton. They have ruled the game for more than a decade. At their age, they can play a really good badminton, that alone prove their legendary status. We may have to wait for another decade to see if momota or axelsen can be as good as ld/lcw
