I can't believe how good this album will be
so my friend and I have been trying to decipher the lyrics of Shapeshifter - we started with the easier ones (Wild, Three Hearts, Bloodsucker) and got some help from the kickstarter for All In Blue. We realized the animals match the video art - meaning that this one was likely to be about some sort of deer.
is this song about a deer getting hit by a car and the driver feels guilty or are we losing our minds LOL the lyrics seem to fit pretty much perfectly

Oh, I thought it was a song about time, inevitably devouring everything (but also providing for life - pollinator); I could never figure out the deer in the video! I adore all of shapeshifter (having a Much Madness phase atm). Do you have any plans for another original album?
I found this album last night and cannot stop listening, this music is utterly and beautifully hypnotizing to listen to, I'm considering getting the vinyl album in the future if my girlfriend and I get a record player

I'm just so taken by the poetry of every one of your songs and how moving and evocative they are. The wistful vocals coalesced with melodic and perfectly simple yet intricate music that all seem to live in symbiosis are an audiophiles dream.

This album is really fascinating. I found it just yesterday and have been playing it on repeat! This album especially reminds me of a book I read called House of Hollow which is a sort of horror, mystery, fantasy book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes these songs and that sort of vibe. :)
